This 1995 Land Rover Defender 110, originating from France, underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in 2022 by Invicta Automotive Design in Manchester, England. The three-door vehicle received extensive cosmetic and mechanical upgrades, including a Keswick Green exterior refinish, an Exmoor Trim soft top, an interior refresh in Ivory Nappa leather, and a complete overhaul of its 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four engine and R380 5-speed manual transmission. Upgrades include 18” alloy wheels, an Alpine stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, a MOMO steering wheel, and other Invicta-specific appointments. Imported to the US in December 2022, it was acquired by the current owner in October 2023 and is now offered for auction on behalf of the seller in Colorado, accompanied by a BMIHT certificate and additional documentation.
This Defender’s aluminum body was disassembled, repaired, and refinished in Keswick Green, while the frame was media blasted, repaired, and powder-coated. The restoration included a heavy-duty soft top frame, an Exmoor Trim PVC soft top, a Puma-style hood and doors, galvanized trim, and new glass, weatherstripping, and hardware. Additional equipment includes LED lighting, backlit aluminum door handles, an Invicta-branded steering guard, and satin black finished Lucari Solutions 18” XTR1 alloy wheels with 265/60 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. A matching spare tire is mounted to the rear ORE swing-away carrier. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with photos of the restoration process and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Ivory Nappa leather upholstery on the high-back bucket seats and inward-facing rear seats. It is equipped with seatbelts for eight passengers, a MOMO Indy steering wheel, polished aluminum shift knobs, and a locking Exmoor Trim center console between the front seats. Molded all-weather mats line the floors, while synthetic teak-style flooring is used in the cargo area. The seller notes the odometer was set to zero during the restoration.
This Defender is powered by a 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline four-cylinder engine rated at 111 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque, delivered to all four wheels by an R380 5-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The restoration included overhauls to the engine, four-wheel disc brakes, and suspension, along with a transmission reconditioning by Hallbeck Engineering of Wrexham, Wales. Additionally, a replacement fuel tank and wiring have been fitted.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, and additional documentation.

Hi all, we're in to the last few hours of the auction of my Invicta built Defender 110 beachrunner!
Invicta (formerly Carriages Auto) is a shop that has been specializing in all things Defender in the UK for over two decades. It’s an industry secret that most big names Defender shops in the US outsource their builds to established but lesser know (outside of the UK) shops in the UK. Invicta has build and continue to ghost-build for a lot of big brand Defender restoration shops. So essentially the quality of this truck is on par or better than any of those big names that sell for $$$$. Most people wont’t be able to tell this apart from an Arkonik build.
More than 1500 hours were invested into the build. It was restored to factory spec, using mostly genuine Land Rover parts (aftermarket parts were used where genuine parts are no longer available). Paint is up to factory spec or even better.
I’m big on details so I push my build partners towards the same results. You will be looking at north of $150k to replicate this level of build yourself, perhaps even more if you go to one of the big name shops.
This truck is better than when it rolled off the factory, and given the fact that civilian 110 2doors are rare compared to the 110 4doors, you’re going to have something very unique.
I want this to go to a new home today, so go all in! Happy bidding…
@kkristofek, no AC. It was built as an open air tuck and the soft top doesn't provide that much insulation for the AC to be effective. However, I can facilitate the installation of an AC. It’s about $4k in parts plus $3k-$4k in labor.
Does this have air conditioning?
