Available for auction is an illuminated Texaco sign. The sign was produced by Dualite, a well-known sign and advertising company out of Williamsburg, Ohio. The sign measures approximately 25” inches in diameter with a width of 5 ½” inches. The seller states the sign is in excellent condition, is illuminated via energy-efficient LED lights and powered by 110v circuitry.
Founded in 1902 simply as the “Texas Fuel Company”, Texaco became one of the dominant global petroleum companies from the mid-1940s-1970s and was a notable sponsor of NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, and even the European Touring Car Championship. Today, Texaco remains one of the leading filling station companies as well as an iconic symbol of American car culture. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.
