Available for auction is a Bruce McLaren illuminated sign. The seller states the sign is made with a metal frame and anti-glare plexiglass front face. The sign comes to life through a EU power plug and fluorescent lighting.

In 1959, Bruce McLaren was the youngest driver to win a Formula 1 race at the Sebring circuit in the USA. Nine years later he would win the Belgian Grand Prix with his own car, a McLaren. In 1966 he also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Ford GT40.

The sign is stated to be in excellent overall condition and measures approximately 8.25” X 23” X 3.75”. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

    Hi bidders and speed enthusiasts.
    I have added some photos of the power adapter that is included in the lot for those countries that need it.
    On the one hand we have the plug adapter and on the other the power adapter itself. An adapter with more than enough features for this beautiful sign.
    A way to make things easier for our bidders.
    You know guys, with this magnificent sign a 220V-110V power adapter is included.
    Thanks for your bids.
    Best.

    I'm up here in Bordeaux so if it's a 220V system, that's perfect. Looks like the right plug for France, too. Thanks for your quick response.

    @Cherche-pepite Good day
    Indeed this sign has been mounted on the wall. The cable is the one with this sign. If it is necessary to place another longer one, I can do it for you without any problem. Also included is the power adapter and an American type plug. Thank you very much for your question.

  • Cherche-pepite (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

    I can't tell for sure from your photos but would this sign normally be wall-mounted? It looks like the electrical cord is rather short for that.

    Important information:
    A 220V-110V power adapter and a European-American plug adapter are included in this sign. We make it as easy as possible for an interested buyer to bid on this lot. You will no longer have to worry about purchasing these devices.
    We will upload photos of these accessories shortly.
    We hope it will be received with enthusiasm by those interested.
    Greetings to all and good luck.
