Available for auction is an illuminated Mclaren dealership sign. This sign is being relisted on PCARMARKET due to the buyer not completing the sale. The sign measures 92” in length with a height of 20”. The sign is illuminated by LED lighting and is powered by 110v.
The sign is constructed of translucent lettering set on a metal frame. The seller states the sign is believed to be dated from the 2000’s and is in overall good condition. This Mclaren dealership sign would make a striking addition to any space or collection.
The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Thank you for the clarification, Caveboy, but I also tried sending an email to PcarMarket because I was interested to bid . However, without documentation, I’m afraid the sign doesn’t prove its authenticity. It’s too easy to claim a provenance without having a certificate to back it up. I’ve been in the automobilia world for many years, and I can assure you that it’s a “reproductio” no dealership . Anyway best of luck
After a careful conversation with PCarMarket team, I would like to point out for all the potential bidders as advised by the team I want point out that this sign was collected from a very famous private collector in northern Germany.
Obtain documentation for items of this kind is not always easy, the beauty and quality of this item could easily tell enough anyway .
Regards
I still don't understand your comments here.
You should know that it is not an easy thing to get any kind of documentation for these kind of items when they are collected .
There are no documents and everything is clear in the auction .
Kindly do not continue these denigrating discussions
@CaveBoy Thank you for your response @CaveBoy , I understand that you used an image online as an example, but the concern here is that there are many signs being sold as “from dealerships” without any proof of origin, and in several cases, those listings have been removed for lacking certification. While it’s great that @PCarMarket knows you and your reputation as a long time user, that doesn’t automatically verify the authenticity of the signs you’re selling as being from dealerships. I believe PCarMarket should reconsider the listing title for this particular sign, perhaps labeling it as a reproduction unless proof of dealership origin is provided. At the moment, without concrete evidence, it seems like a reproduction, which can easily be made for a small amount of money. If you can confirm that the sign is indeed from a dealership, I might reconsider and place a bid. However, without verification, it just doesn’t seem legitimate. Future bidders should be aware of everything
and have the full context.

Hi @Suprasp
Sure thing that picture was just taken online as an example as you can also see from the last picture I’ve uploaded.
It is a common thing to show articles as a demonstration example.
I really don't understand what purpose you are doing this for.
PCarMarket knows me and how we work is not the case you have to talk like that.

Hello @Caveboy , the photo uploaded showing the sign at the dealership is simply taken from Google as the link https://images.app.goo.gl/LgqkKhdgQ3qv8ghh8 I was planning to place my bid, but with a quick image search, I found that the photo is from online and doesn’t verify the sign’s origin. I think @pcarmarket should correct or remove the ongoing auction for transparency and thanks for understanding.
