Available for auction is an illuminated double-sided BMW sign. The sign measures approximately 24” inches in diameter. The sign features BMW’s signature white, blue, and black logo, representing the colors of the State of Bavaria in Germany.
An Underwriters Laboratories Inc. sticker can be seen affixed to the side of the sign and all other manufacturer stamps, stickers and decals are present and can be viewed in the gallery. The sign is constructed of metal with an acrylic front face. The seller states the sign is in good overall condition but has developed a nice patina over the years of use.
The internal sign components are accessed via the sign’s removable face. In an effort to preserve the signs originality, the seller elected to keep the original fluorescent lighting but the wiring has been converted to 110v circuitry with a US plug.
For any BMW enthusiast or automotive collector, this sign would make a fine addition to their collection. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.
The seller would like you to know: "The sign is authentic, it is in good working condition, the frame is great but the plastic shows wear. Found at a shop in San Diego."
