Available for auction is an illuminated ‘Ripple’ Cadillac sign. The sign measures approximately 8’ feet in length and 29” inches tall, with a depth of 9” inches. The sign is constructed of an aluminum-painted box, a ‘ripple’ plastic front face with the Cadillac logotype in blue. The seller states the original box could not be saved and has been replaced with a brand new, all-aluminum box. The sign's illumination has also been updated with energy-efficient LED lights and is powered by 110v circuitry with a three-prong U.S. plug.
The raised blue letters spell Cadillac and are set on a white plastic translucent background. The seller states the sign is known as a ‘ripple’ sign due to the 3-dimensional ridges incorporated into the plastic face. The seller also states the sign is in excellent condition considering its age and works flawlessly. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Cadillac automobilia with this near-perfect sign. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.
The seller would like you to know: This vintage 1960s Cadillac sign is a very rare surviving example. Originally at a PA area dealership, this stood for many years outside advertising the brand. It's known as a Ripple sign due to the ripple design of the face. The raised blue letters are vibrant and shiny. The sign is in incredible condition considering its age. The original box was not able to be saved, so a brand new, all-aluminum box was made, with up-to-date new LED's for cool and efficient operation. A vintage Cadillac like this is rarely ever seen, this is a must-have for any GM or Cadillac collector.

Thanks to both my bidders. Unfortunately, I need more for this incredible piece of 1970’s memorabilia.

Welcome to the final day of my auction.
This is by far one of the coolest Cadillac signs available on the market today. Originally it came from Stratton Motor Company in Clearfield, PA.
As I stated, these signs are so difficult to fine not only free of cracks and damage, but still with bright, vibrant colours. This really would be an amazing addition to any collection.
Crating for world with shipping is available for $400, and I can drop it off at my preferred freight company or anyone of your choice. I also have some trips coming up on the east coast, so delivery can be an option as well. Get your bids in early, if you like it, don’t let it pass you by.
Good luck to everyone!

Hi Jim, my crate guy called me back. The crate is $400. He does a great job, and usually over builds them to protect these signs. That’s especially important with a rare vintage one like this. I would guess shipping is around $400-$550. It’s hard to get an exact number because the weight really can’t be factored in accurately until it’s build. Long story short, that’s a pretty good estimate.
DAVE, THANKS! MY ZIP CODE IS 80915, COMMERCIAL LOCATION, LOADING DOCK, ETC. NORMAL HOURS, LET ME KNOW!
@Reincar hi Jim. I am actually in Ontario, but I have a small storage location in Niagara Falls, NY about 15 minutes from my home. It’s not a problem to deliver it to Buffalo, or crate it and ship it to Colorado. I ship Memorabilia all over the world, a quick google search of my user name should pull up some more info on me. Give me a day and I can get a pretty accurate quote to crate and ship if you like.
Dave
Are you in NY or Ontario? Could you deliver it to my friends house in Buffalo? She drives a tiny car that would not accommodate this sign. Or, could you crate and ship it to me in Colorado. Thoughts about price? Always the challenge when buying signs. Thank you! Jim
