Available for auction is this Heuer Navia dashboard timer, an eight-day clock manufactured in Switzerland circa the mid-1960s. Designed for rugged environments, the Navia was marketed for marine, aviation, and military applications, sharing much of its design with the contemporary Master Time, including its reliable single-barrel Arogno Caliber 28 mechanical movement.

The timepiece features a waterproof electroplated steel case measuring 55mm in diameter, mounted on a 72mm round plaque, with a black dial showcasing aged white lume-coated hour markings, four bold numerals, a white Heuer shield, and "Navia" and “8 Days” script. Lume-coated hands provide excellent legibility, while a knurled crown allows for easy winding and time setting.

A rare and well-preserved example of mid-century Heuer precision, this Navia dashboard timer is stated by the seller to be in excellent condition. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

@ricm I can’t say with any certainty, other than that it seems clear to me that this was extraordinarily well-cared for given a lack of heavy patina or aging typically to timers of this era. Especially considering this was intended for the toughest of conditions, it is in such remarkable physical condition that I want to avoid doing much of anything to it. I will leave it to the new owner to do with it what they prefer. That being said, this is a true time capsule and I think one would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner example. Let me works on those pictures in the dark.

Can you upload a photo of the piece in the dark to check the lume? And how long will the lume stay charged?
    Has it ever been CLA'd?
