Available for auction is an original canvas print of the Gulf Porsche 917 by US-based automotive artist Mike Zagorski. The Gulf livery #21 car is the John Wyer Automotive Engineering LTD 917-016 car that raced in the 24h of Le Mans in 1970. The print measures approximately 30” x 40”x 1 1/2” and has been hand embellished to add texture and uniqueness to this beautiful piece.
About the Artist: Originally from Scotland, Mike Zagorski is a Colorado, USA-based artist focused on painting Formula 1 and automotive subjects in a style combining realism to capture the main subject and impressionism for backgrounds. In addition to obsessing over capturing small details, he gravitates towards painting wet races with intermediate or full wet tires, and airborne water droplets! Trained and licensed as an architect, after a 20-year hiatus from artwork while working in the AEC industry, he started painting during the pandemic in 2020. In a very short time, his work has made it into collections around the world and is owned by current and former F1 drivers, employees within the F1 industry, and fans of the sport. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and transactional fees.

Only a couple hours left to bid. Happy to answer questions. If you plan to bid last minute make sure you’re bidding vs leaving a comment - has happened before and bidders missed out on winning an auction that way.

@Porshafile It is signed by the artist (me). I was planning a run of 50 prints total. If bidding goes over $3k I’ll give the winning bidder the original painting in lieu of a print.
Do you know how many prints were made and is this signed by the artist?

@jns7853 It is stretched, not rolled. Not sure where you’re located but I’m in the US and almost always ship my paintings and canvas prints stretched vs rolled. Shipping within the US should be about 125.

This is beautiful! Is the print stretched on a frame or loose (i.e. will it ship in a box or rolled in a tube)? If the former, any idea what the shipping cost will be?
