Available for auction is a driver side Recaro Classic C seat. The seller states the seat has been freshly recovered with perforated leather and features electric adjustment and pneumatic lumbar support. The switch panel mounted on the lower side bolster controls power adjustments and other features. The seat was originally purchased for an E39 M5 but never installed. The seat is suitable for a wide range of vehicles, please verify fitment in your vehicle. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and transactional fees.

@fast356 Thank you so much for the bid. It is a seat I searched for many times, and the timing was just terrible when i finally found one , worth restoring. I put 246K miles on my E39 M5, on the original clutch! But, alas, I was ready for something "new", bought a E92 Comp M3, which was a 3 year back and forth to the dealer, but anuway, thank you again for your bid.

I should note that I think all of the adjustments are manual. If you look at the pictures, there are manual adjusters for thigs are rib cage area's. I could be wrong, not exactly sure.

Hello everyone. I bought this seat many years ago to install in my beloved BMW E39 M5. Alas, I sold the car after 247K miles, and never installed the seat.
I bought it from a very well known at the time e bay seller, who had a side business restoring these seats. It was done to my spec. German leather, proper perforated leather in the centers, and he checked out the functions, before shipping it out.
So, I never checked it out, I simply put it in a shelf in may garage, but never installed it. I kept if covered, never really did anything, until deciding to make some space for new collectible items. Please note the quality of the sewing finishes, the knobs, the new seat straps. All manual bolster adjustments work perfectly, seat back tips forward as it should, the back ( the back often get really beat up) is in superb condition.
I have probably owned 10-12 pairs of classic Recaro's over my 64 years. I could not pass up one more, but the install timing just never came together, time for a new home. Thank you.
