Available for auction is a collection of 8 1:43 scale model Porsches. Each Porsche at one point was part of a 1800 vehicle collection owned by John Frankenheimer. John Frankenheimer was an American film and television director known for social dramas and action/suspense movies. Among his credits were Birdman of Alcatraz, The Manchurian Candidate, Seven Days in May, Grand Prix, French Connection, and many others.
These 1:43 scale Porsche models are in excellent condition and have been professionally mounted on a polished walnut board with an engraved plexiglass identifier plaque.

#66 1981 Porsche 935 - Finished in white with Klein Racing livery. Made by RUF in France.
#55 1983 Porsche 935 Turbo - Finished in a red Coca Cola Livery. Made by Record in France.
#599 1987 Porsche 935 TT - Made by Burago in Italy.
#2 1981 Porsche 935 Raced by Brumos Porsche of Jacksonville Fl. Made by Starter in France.
#2 1971 Porsche 917 B1 - Finished in yellow. Made by Mini Racing.
#18 1980 Porsche 935 Turbo - Finished in blue and raced by JLP Racing. Made by Solido in Fance.
#9 1981 Porsche 935 B1 - Finished in white Kremer Racing livery this model was made by Record in France.

This is an opportunity to own a piece of Porsche memorabilia made unique by its' prior ownership. It doesn't have the cache that a Steve McQueen or Paul Newman piece would have, but John Frankenheimer did direct 'Gran Prix'. A great addition to any collection and a great conversation piece.
