Available for auction is a painting titled "#Ferrari250GTO" by artist DCart depicting the Ferrari 250 GTO Targa Florio in Sicily. A 40" x 28" tribute to one of the most valuable and important cars of all time.
The year is 1963. FERRARI 250 GTO 3.0 with JUAN MANUEL BORDEU and GIORGIO SCARLATTI at the wheel at the 47^ TARGA FLORIO in Sicily (Italy). Before the Targa Florio, three races have already been held as part of the Sports Car World Championship. The season started with the Daytona 3 Hours, which was won by Pedro Rodríguez in a Ferrari 250 GTO at Daytona International Speedway. The following Sebring 3 Hours ended with the success of Hans Herrmann in a Fiat-Abarth 1000. The 12 Hours at Sebring International Raceway was won by John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti in a Ferrari 250P. The 47th Targa Florio, also Targa Florio, Piccolo Circuito delle Madonie, Sicilia, in Sicily took place on May 5, 1963, and was the fourth race of the World Sportscar Championship of that year. The number 108 Ferrari 250 GTO shown here, driven by Argentinean Juan Manuel Bordeu and Italian Giorgio Scarlatti, managed to finish a respectful 6th place. The Ferrari 250 GTO, which today costs up to 70 million euros, is a work of art. A guaranteed eye-catcher and unique work of art. New and direct from the studio. Dozens of hours of work with great attention to detail and passion. Original Ferrari paint "Rosso Corsa" Another highlight is that in the background you can see the original course of the '63 race, including the long straight along the sea.
Behind the synonym DCart is Christopher Draeger, born in the 1980s in Friedrichshafen, Germany at Lake Constance. Due to the early entry into active motorsport and stations at the renowned German car magazine "auto motor und sport" and Porsche, there is more than enough petrol in his head. But since early childhood, art and creative work have been the second great passion in his life. Thanks to his mother, a studied art teacher, professionalism came more and more into his work, which now includes several hundred individual pieces and inspires sports car and motorsport fans worldwide. Customers now include the Arabian royal family, Porsche 918 customers, and Mercedes 300SL Gullwing owners, as well as customers on all continents of the world.
All in all, this is a special, unique and "something different" work of art that was created with great attention to detail, the Ferrari brand, and a passion for motorsport. Included with the work is a certificate of authenticity with all details about the work of art. The shipment of the works of art is always very well secured, protected, and always insured. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
