Available for auction is an original acrylic painting of Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen when he raced for Scuderia Ferrari and clinched the World Driver’s Championship at the 2007 Brazilian Grand Prix by US-based automotive artist Mike Zagorski. This 24” x 36”x 1-3/8” painting is finished in acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas.
About the Artist: Originally from Scotland, Mike Zagorski is a Colorado, USA-based artist focused on painting Formula 1 and automotive subjects in a style combining realism to capture the main subject and impressionism for backgrounds. In addition to obsessing over capturing small details, he gravitates towards painting wet races with intermediate or full wet tires, and airborne water droplets! Trained and licensed as an architect, after a 20-year hiatus from artwork while working in the AEC industry, he started painting during the pandemic in 2020. In a very short time, his work has made it into collections around the world and is owned by current and former F1 drivers, employees within the F1 industry, and fans of the sport. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
