Available for auction is a 1:3 scale Ferrari F40. Cast from original moldings produced by Pininfarina/Ferrari, this impressive model measures approximately 5 ½’ feet long and weighs approximately 25 pounds. The model was designed for dealers to promote the newly introduced Ferrari F40 in the late 1980s and was seen at Ferrari dealerships around the world. The model is constructed of fiberglass and finished in French Racing Blue and features various Ferrari and Pininfarina badges. The seller states the model has been expertly preserved for nearly 40 years and is in good condition. The seller notes a few minor imprefections on the passenger side (please see gallery). The model can easily be mounted on a wall or equally enjoyed as a centerpiece in a room or collection. 
The Ferrari F40 was unveiled in 1987, it was designed to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary and it was a tribute to Enzo Ferrari, the company’s founder. It would be the last vehicle to be personally approved by Enzo before his passing.

The body in the color blue is extremely rare and I am happy to be able to offer this beauty to you.
Die Möglichkeit diesen Body in Szene zu setzen ist fast unendlich.
You can mount it on the wall, leave it hanging from the ceiling with 4 wire ropes or you can have a suitable pedestal made in white on which you place the body, which would certainly also be a great eye catcher. All just food for thought on my part.
