Gents, and ladies, maybe, THE RESERVE HAS BEEN LIFTED. From here on out, this is a NO RESERVE auction, and this dynamic duo of Enzo Ferrari items will go to the highest bidder!

That being said, bidding is a really easy decision to make. From what info I've gathered, there were only 200 of the model made, and we've already discussed the probability of the Richard Pietruska piece being either an extremely low # piece, or possibly a 1 off. Either way, this is bargain basement level for truly rare collectibles and individually produced art.

If folks haven't had the chance, I'd strongly recommend to click on the provided links to view Richard Pietruska's art. It's not only unique, it's inspired. Nothing on his site is less than several thousand dollars. And the only comp close to this is the Fangio piece listed at $23k.

@Jbwz65, Thank you for your bid, and you're on top.

Some more pictures of the fine detail of the Enzo model getting added, so check them out.

@RHB062960, Thank you for your repeat bids, and you're back on top.

So, staying with the model theme for now, let's get more into some of the INCREDIBLE DETAIL. Everything from a "production sticker" to official Ferrari Factory glass etchings can be found on this incredible model. It's so fine, that the camera had difficulty "seeing" the detail even on max zoom, but it's all there. So, I'll start with those 2 items then go into the incredible detail of the mechanicals. Look for the unbelievably specific engine, suspension, and interior cues, not to mention that the tires are ACTUAL RUBBER and the EXACT make and model of what came on the real car. Check it out.

Good Morning everyone, Happy (Manic) Monday, and welcome to the last day of our Enzo Ferrari / Ferrari Enzo Memorabilia duo auction. Yes, I've been trying to come up with a fun and unique name every day. Hard to believe it's been a week already, but with all of the Super Bowl hype leading up to yesterday, it went by fast, and here we are.

If you're an Eagles fan, you're pretty happy and enjoyed yesterday's events. If you're a Chiefs fan, you have my condolences because it wasn't even interesting until the very end. But hey, you guys can drown your sorrows in those other 3 championships in the very recent past, and that team will be competitive for years to come. Here in Chicago, we're only competitive every couple of decades in whatever sport you choose. And, poor Cleveland, well, their woes have been well documented; so, everything's relative.

Anyway, something that will ALWAYS put a smile on your face is a great "Automobilia" display in your home or office. The beauty of this duo is that they can be displayed in a number of different ways. They can be shown in tandem, with the signed Pietruska piece hanging above the case. You can display the Pietruska piece separately in your office, man-cave, or den either by itself, or with other framed art. And, the model has so many different "looks", that those options are also plentiful: Case closed, inside the black sleeve with the signatures framed, Case closed with the sleeve removed and sitting behind it, case opened showing the disassembled model with the beautiful inside cover specs above, model assembled and sitting inside the case with the tray removed, model DISASSEMBLED sitting inside the case with the tray removed; the possibilities are as endless as your creativity.

@SVROC, Thank you for your follow up bid.

@RHB062960, Thank you for your follow up bid, and you're back on top.

With a few hours to go, I still have plenty of pictures to add. So, this morning's batch will feature a few of those display options for the model that I mentioned above. I'd like to remind everyone that the model has STILL NEVER been assembled, and really only taken out for the purposes of these pictures. Check out a few of these fun display combinations in anticipation of creating your own, and I'll be back shortly with some more great photos. Have a great Monday.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday at that), and welcome to the 2nd to last day of our double Ferrari Enzo / Enzo Ferrari Memorabilia auction.

Yesterday's Swap Meet was a huge success with nearly 600 attendees over the 3 hour duration. As expected, there were some AMAZING items there in the form of every type of collectible imaginable; die cast models, signs, banners, plaques, clothing, posters, canvas art, you name it. What was more amazing is that I somehow managed to walk out of there not having spent a dollar of my wife's money::--))))) I must be growing up, such a shame.

The event was hosted at renowned restoration shop The Last Detail. Our host and owner Tom announced that it was in fact the 12th hosting of the event, and his 49th year in business!! What an accomplishment, and what a gracious host. Thanks to Tom and our cars&coffee group FuelFed for organizing a great and always anticipated event.

Back to our unique Ferrari pieces. As cool as everything I saw was yesterday, little came close to the unique-creativeness of these. At a mere 54 years old, I'm as guilty as those old timers referring to something that happened decades ago as seeming much more recent. Even though 1988 doesn't seem like it was that long ago, for ME anyway, it was in fact 37 years ago, that's how long Enzo has been gone; hard to believe. I was in college and remember a pretty significant sense of personal loss as I thought the man was immortal and would always be around. Well, these 2 pieces certainly help pay tribute to the man who is one of the 20th Century's most iconic automotive figures.

@RHB062960, Thank you for your bid, and you're on top.

So, let's check out more pictures showing this cool lot in this morning's batch. Enjoy the pictures, enjoy the big game with your friends or family, check out the always adorable Puppy Bowl, and Have a great Sunday.

Good Morning everyone, Happy Saturday, Welcome to the weekend, and this 6th day of our Enzo Ferrari / Ferrari Enzo Memorabilia auction.

@Anthonydecrist, Thank you for your bid, and you're on top.

So, I’m off shortly to our car club swap meet to meet up with some chums and see what treasures other car nuts have to display and offer. But first, let ME offer up some more great shots of this awesome set of collectibles. Like I said before, I put the plaque into several different positions, and even placed it in a couple of different backgrounds to show off its look, subtle but notable differences. Enjoy the pictures and have a great Saturday.

Good Morning, Happy Friday, and welcome to the 5th day of our Ferrari Enzo Memorabilia auction. We're over the halfway point, and our views and saves count is ever increasing.

Our first function of the year for our local Chicagoland car club, FuelFed, is tomorrow. It's the annual swap meet where guys show up with everything from engines to watches. It's a great event because it gets everyone excited for the driving season, even though for us Midwesterners, that's several months away.

What isn't several months away is these unique pieces going into the collection of a lucky new caretaker. Whether they're your 1st, or your 10th pieces to be added into a memorabilia collection, they're sure to be the most unique.

As I previously mentioned, I have way more pictures of the model than I do (or did) of the art-piece. It stands to reason because the model is way more elaborate and has many parts to it versus a static framed plaque. So, I took advantage of the sunshine yesterday and took many more pictures of the art-piece both inside, and outside. I was able to capture it from more angles than previously shown which I hope will better show its depth. So, in my ongoing efforts to keep things interesting, this next batch of pictures will include some of the model from the original indoor shoot, as well as a few of the new ones from yesterday. No worries, I took plenty more from my brief "time in the sun", from every angle imaginable. I'm looking forward to unveiling more of those over the weekend.

In the meantime, check out this set of shots, and have a great Friday everyone.

Good Morning, Happy Thursday (Friday jr, or Friday eve), and welcome to day # 4 of our Ferrari Enzo set of Memorabilia auction. We’ve gone over the “Hump” of the week and are heading toward the beloved weekend. Thanks to the folks who have viewed, are watching, and have bid on the auction of this cool and rare pair of items.

Although I consider myself a bit of an (automotive) art collector, NOTHING I have is as unique or rare as this. So, I've been spending some time on our artist's (Richard Pietruska) website looking through some of his amazing creations. It seems that he's leaning more towards free-standing sculptures these days as I only found 1 similar 3d "plaque-type" piece. That piece, titled, "Fangio W196 - Automotive Art for the Masses", is a double plaque design, and the panels are installed in a - Newspaper Stand - designed structure simulating newspapers in an old school dispenser. Who remembers these? Anyway, it's a pretty cool, very creative art piece, and is going for a cool $23k.
I thought folks would find it interesting, so here's the link to that:

    https://www.rpmart.com/store/p/ferrari-fangio-newspaper-art

You can plainly see the same unique artistic qualities in that piece shared with our piece here. Really, Richard's "signature" style comes through loud and clear when viewing even his sculptures and prints. It's worth noting that this Fangio piece(s) shares our piece's raised signature in the same lower right corner location, versus all of the other pieces' signature "badge". I recommend that you peruse this piece, and all of his work for that matter, particularly if you have interest in this piece, or automotive art in general.

@hankcarp, Thank you for your bid.

With that, I'll upload the next batch of pictures for everyone to enjoy. Please check out the link, the added pictures, and have a great day.

Good Afternoon, Happy Hump Day, and welcome to day 3 of our Ferrari Enzo Memorabilia auction.

I'll try to add in a few pictures of the model as well as the signed art every day to keep things interesting. The model is so elaborate that I think we'll probably run out of art piece pics first.

So, enjoy this next batch of pictures and have a great Wednesday.

Good Afternoon everyone, Happy Tuesday, and welcome to the second day of ourFerrari Enzo Mem auction. I hope folks successfully got through their Manic Monday without too much issue.

We've spent the better part of the day doing some additional research on our unique signed art piece, and have updated the listing accordingly. Our artist, Richard Pietruska, is really quite the man of many talents. With automotive art as his specialty, and working with composite materials as his "canvas" of choice, it turns out that he's also a professor along with being an accomplished artist. Folks are welcome to read his bio and check out some of his other art in the following links:

    https://www.rpmart.com/

    https://newmastersgallery.com/artists/estate-sales/richard-pietruska/

Our owner Joe actually purchased the piece AND had Richard sign it at one of those award winning Concours events mentioned in the write up. Even though it's personalized to Joe, the winning bidder is welcome to remove Joe if they so choose, leaving just the "Enjoy" and the signature. If the winning bidder is named Joe, then it's a huge bonus::--)))))

So, now that some more crucial details have been shared, the next 6 days should be even smoother and more enjoyable.

@sparkle, Fun handle. Thank you for getting us started with your opening bid.

@SVROC, Thank you for your bid, and you're on top.

Thanks to everyone who's viewed so far. We'll get started on the picture adding as there is much to see. Have a great evening everyone.

Good Afternoon, Happy Monday, and welcome to the auction of this cool set of Ferrari Enzo Memorabilia. I'm representing them for a good friend who's had them in his collection since new, and yes, his name really is Joe::--))))) Over the years, Joe has collected Ferrari's, Maserati's, Porsche's, and all of the cool memorabilia that comes with them. Now, it's time to pass along some of those items for which he no longer has a matching car; enter this set.

The Tamiya model is the real deal 1:12 metal version that comes in the large official suitcase-like carrying case that has all of the officially licensed Ferrari signatures and stamps. Housed in the additional black glossy cover, the kit is complete and amazing. It has never been assembled, and only occasionally opened to show. Even All of the original tissue paper is still intact. Down to the fuzzy molded holder that still smells new, this piece is as original as they come. They didn't make a lot of these, and this one is as nice an example as you'll find.

Now, the signed original art piece is even more special. It is an extremely low number piece that Joe had signed by the artist when he was at Continental Ferrari. The piece has his raised signature in the lower right hand corner, as well as his actual matching signature just above. Its unique 3 d look wasn't easy to capture in pictures, but between the initial shots and those to come, folks will get a really good sense of just how cool it is.

Over the next 7 days, I’m sure we’ll be discussing a wide variety of topics regarding this cool set. Folks who follow my auctions know that I’ve always got a stash of back up pictures to add in as we go; and this listing is no exception. Obviously, discussing memorabilia for 7 days isn’t as exciting as watching driving videos, but I’ll try to keep things as interesting as possible with the discussion as well as the picture adding; and I do have a HUGE stash for these 2. We'll be checking out every inch of the model, showing just how incredibly detailed it is. And the signed piece has its share of great shots.

So, with that, I'll wish folks an easy cruise through their Manic Monday and look forward to interacting and presenting as we go. Have a great day everyone.
