Available for auction is a new Ferrari Corso Pilota Avanzato Carbon/Kevlar racing helmet autographed by 24h of Le Mans Ferrari winner Dominique Bardini. Bardini finished 1st in class and 5th overall at the 1974 24h of Le Mans in the French-privateer Ferrari 365 GTB/4 LM.
The helmet was produced exclusively for Ferrari’s Corso Pilota Advanced driving course and was not available for public purchase. The helmet is constructed of a Carbon/Kevlar shell with a black Nomex interior lining. The exterior is finished in Ferrari Rosso Corsa and features black and silver accents, a Ferrari Corso Pilota logo on the front and the Ferrari Prancing horse logo on the back.
The helmet size is Medium. The seller states the helmet is in new condition and has never been used. The seller notes slight deterioration of the rubberized coating on the end of the chin strap due to age. The Ferrari box is for display purposes only and is not included.
