Available for auction is one of the earliest sculptures by Richard Pietruska depicting the Ferrari 250 TR. This incredible piece was signed by Sergio Scaglietti from their meeting at the 1998 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Having a limited run of only four 250TR sculptures, this example is being released from Richards's personal collection.

This painted cast resin sculpture measures approximately 12.5" L x 7.5" H x 8" W. The curved metal base utilizes the same wrinkled powder coating that is seen on many engines. Sergio Scaglietti designed many exotic racing cars for Ferrari in the 1950s and 1960s including the 250 Testa Rossa and 250 GTO.

Richard Pietruska is world renowned for his exotic automotive sculptures that have evolved and transformed over the years and has taught some of the most famous automotive designers around the world. Pietruska's knowledge has led to his extensive career at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena for over 40 years working with designers like Chris Bangle(BMW), Henrik Fisker(Fisker), Frank Stephenson(McLaren), Ken Okuyama(Ferrari Enzo), Shiro Nakamura(Nissan), Achim Anscheidt(Bugatti), Franz Von Holzhausen(Tesla), Freeman Thomas(Ford), Grant Larson(Porsche), SangYup Lee(Hyundai) and many more. Richard is also a long-time member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society(AFAS) and his work has been featured in automotive magazines and collections around the world.

This Scaglietti signed 250TR would make a wonderful conversational piece in any Ferrari aficionado's collection. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
