Available for auction is a large European Ferrari dealership sign, measuring just under 5’ tall by 31” wide. This impressive sign features 220v European wiring and is constructed with an aluminum frame and a translucent face. The seller states while it exhibits some typical exterior patina from outdoor use, it remains in excellent original condition overall.
The face of the sign is exceptionally clean, with the aluminum frame showing minor scratches and traces of building material from its previous mounting. This rare and striking piece is perfect for any Ferrari enthusiast or collector. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Well look at it this way…that lack of info may limit bidding to meet your reserve…
@dino70089 We'll see if we can get that done before auction's end. That might be a tall order as the owner and I both have day jobs and it will take up some decent space. We'll give it a shot and let you know.
It would be helpful to see this sign with the back removed so we can see the internals

Good Morning everyone, Happy Frigid Tuesday, and welcome to another day of our Vintage Ferrari Sign auction. Hard to believe that we're over halfway through our week as we make our way to auction's end on Friday afternoon. By then, this cool and rare sign will be going into the collection of another very lucky caretaker.
@dino70089, Thank you for your bid, and you're on top.
So, as we struggle to get up to 0 degrees Fahrenheit here in the Chicagoland area, I'll share a few more pictures from our original shoot when it was a balmy 40 + degrees. Some of these hopefully show how the sign is held together per your request @dino70089 et all. Enjoy the pictures and have a great day.
@dino70089 The sign disassembles through a series of screws found around the exterior. I'll find some pictures that show them more clearly and post. Thanks for your question.
Bid in the amount of $1,000
It’s not obvious (to me) how you gain access to the insides…for example to install bulbs.

Good Afternoon everyone, Happy Monday, Happy Martin Luther King day, Happy Inauguration day, and welcome to another day of our 70’s Vintage Ferrari Sign auction.
I hope folks had an enjoyable weekend getting to watch some football (I hope your team won) and unwind from the work week. As we start in on this manic Monday, we are a little over 4 days away from this awesome piece of memorabilia going into the collection of the next lucky caretaker.
I'm sure it will come up so I'll preemptively discuss shipping. The sign safely came from Europe in a thick cardboard box that was completely taped up. The shipper had installed (additional) reinforced cardboard corners on the sign itself and it was also wrapped in bubble wrap. That is how we intend to ship it unless the winner would like otherwise. We will re-wrap it the way it came and take to the winner’s choice of UPS, FedEx, USPS, or whatever they like. My local UPS does a lot of custom packaging and can even box the box (for a charge) on top of the shipping and whatever insurance the winner chooses. There are plenty of options, but we're happy to do whatever the winner desires.
That being said, let's get back to some more pictures of this great sign. Have a great Monday everyone.

Good Morning everyone, Happy Sunday, and welcome to another day of our unique and large 70’s Ferrari Sign auction.
Pretty cold morning here in Chicago as the weatherman promised; 6 degrees air temp currently, and -6 with the windchill. It’s cold, but will get colder over the next few days, so staying homebound is the plan.
So, to keep things interesting, here are a few more pictures of the sign since we’re inside for a while. Enjoy this batch of shots and have a great Sunday.
@WI911 @WI911, Currently, the sign is wired for European 220v and there is / are no lights or bulbs installed. Having acquired many signs from Europe over the years, more arrived with broken bulbs than not regardless of how carefully they're packaged. So, years ago, he started having them remove the bulbs before shipping to keep from spending hours cleaning up broken bulb pieces inside the signs. If the winner wants to display it with the option of being lit up, I would recommend to find a qualified electrician or known Hobby Shop to convert the wiring to 110 which would also allow you to choose your preferred lights; standard bulbs, halogens, or even LED kits are readily available for retrofitting into such applications. If the winner just wants to display it as is, it's ready to go. Happy to discuss details further if desired. Hope that helps.
Good Morning everyone, Happy Saturday, a slightly belated Happy New Year, and welcome to the auction of this very rare and extremely authentic 70's era European Ferrari Dealership Sign.
I hope folks had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday season, and that your guests left your house in 1 piece::–))))). If you’re like me, you love the holidays, love your extended family, love the kids being home from college, but are soooooooooo happy when you get your routine back and don’t have to keep telling teenagers to clean their fricking rooms.
So, what’s better for getting you back to your routine than spending some quality time on P-Car checking out cool things like this Ferrari Sign. So, whether you’re at home all weekend, traveling for work, or when biding time at the office until quitting time, we’re happy to have folks stopping by to check this out.
If you’re looking at this, then you already know that these Large 70's European signs don’t come up very often; certainly not in any kind of decent condition. This sign is so authentic that it still has some of the European building material from its original display spot still attached; Talk about Patina!! The owner liked it so much when he originally received it that he decided to leave it un detailed and attached all these years. I have more pictures showing all of those spots around the sign so be on the look out for those to drop.
The sign is out of a local collection that happens to be owned by a long time friend who is an admitted Porsche guy. But, for decades, he’s been finding and collecting some of the rarest Porsche and NON-Porsche memorabilia you’ve ever seen; signs, plaques, clocks, crests, die cast models, you name it, he’s got it. His memorabilia collection takes up almost as much room as his car collection; and that’s REALLY saying something.
Now, with the kids out of the house, and their rooms displaying some of these collectibles, the realization has set in that he can’t possibly display everything. So, the decision has been made to let some of it go, and here we are.
Over the next 7 days, I’ll be presenting this rare sign. Folks who follow my auctions know that I’ve always got a stash of back up pictures to add in as we go; and this listing is no exception. Obviously, discussing a sign for 7 days isn’t as exciting as watching driving videos, but I’ll try to keep things as interesting as possible with the discussion as well as the picture adding.
We got very lucky in that the weather cooperated on the weekend that we photo'd the sign which is why all the pictures are outside. Unfortunately, not being inside, you don't get a true sense of the sheer size of this beauty. The measurements don't do it justice as its really much more impressive in person.
@BarryLe, Thank you for getting us started with your opening bid.
So, enjoy the already submitted pictures and I'll start adding more from this point on. Have a great Saturday.
Does the lighting work?
