The Ferrari 308 Quattrovale was first introduced at the 1982 Paris Motor Show, equipped with a revised 2.9L V8 featuring four valves per cylinder and an output of 240 HP. This European-spec example was ordered in Rosso Corsa over a Crema leather interior and is said to have been imported to the United States in 1985. It was first registered in Michigan before spending time in Ohio, Montana, and Arizona before being acquired by the seller in 2020. It received a major service in 2020 including a new air conditioner compressor and dryer, new fuel injectors, lines, pump, accumulator, and tank connector houses, as well as replacement of the front crank seal, camshaft belts, alternator, water pump, thermostat, and radiator hoses. This 308 is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Arizona.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa (322) and features a removable roof panel and slimmer European-market bumpers. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, a front spoiler, an “egg crate” front grille, integrated fog lamps, dual power-operated side mirrors, a vented engine cover, louvered rear quarter windows, a power antenna, and quad exhaust tips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The metric 390mm (15.35”) Cromodora alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin TRX tires.
The cabin is trimmed in Crema leather upholstery which covers the seats, center console, and door panels, contrasted by a black dashboard and beige carpeting. Amenities include a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, power windows, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel, a dogleg gated shifter with a black polished shift knob, Ferrari-branded floormats, Veglia instrumentation, and an analog clock and oil temperature gauge mounted in the center console. The seller reports the odometer was swapped to a U.S.-spec gauge when the vehicle was imported, and the true mileage is unknown.
The GTS Quattrovalvole is equipped with a mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 with four valves per cylinder, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and a Magneti Marelli Digiplex electronic ignition. As much as 240 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. A major service completed in 2020 included the replacement of the front crank seal, camshaft tensioner bearings, and camshaft belts as well as the alternator, water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel pump, accumulator, and tank connector hoses. The air conditioning system was also refreshed with a new condenser and dryer.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s literature, a leather toolkit, and service documents.

I am curious how does one go about getting a 34% discount (photo 138 service record) from an indy shop?
@88SuzukiSamurai , bid to 100K ~ and didn't sell? Really. Seems enough to buy it, one would think. And this is a very clean car.

Looks almost New. Car has Everything going for it except for the TRX wheels. Find some 16" wheels and be done. I don't think I've seen one this nice.
Little else to say, but that she an excellent QV example. Those Euro bumpers are always going to be highly prized, recent major service work is a big plus, the wear on the driver's seats is modest compared to other 308s for the age and mileage, the front lower spoiler doesn't appear to be scratch/dinged as is often the case and a refurbished AC is solid. Props to the seller with the video and photos being rather well done.
