Available for auction is 2 dioramas created by Jean Clause Baudier. The first diorama chrono 43 represents the Ronde Cévenole in 1970. Driven by Gérard Larrousse, the 33 punctured his left rear tire, and the round was over for the man who had beaten the absolute lap record in the trials.
The second featuring a scene with skiers mounting the slopes with 2 cars awaiting their descent. The dioramas are meticulously crafted of styrofoam, wood framing and protective showcase glass. The dioramas measure 45” x 25” cm. The seller states the dioramas are in great condition.
