Thanks everyone's response. These are going on my dash for the "coolness they bring" I race at many tracks and often wonder how drivers did it years back.
To JRumley......The write up that PCM did is rather short and I thought clear. It says ' name of a famous racetrack ' and ' collection of historic racing instruments'. It is not stated anywhere that the watch and race track go together. If The watches could be attributed to anything it would be the individual car or team. I'm sorry if this was not clear.
Wait a minute, these watches have no heritage or homage to the tracks at all? This has not been explained well in your description to @Wuliagye question.
To Wuliangye......... The race track names were picked at random, neither they nor the watches have a relation to each other. I hust thought engraving the names of the tracks made the presentation more interesting. I love the blue face also, I have a thing for colored faces which are rare.
I am on a learning curve here with vintage stopwatches. Is there any specificity to the watch and track. Watkins Glen one of my favorite tracks love the Blue it's that simple for me !! Is there more to this ???
