Available for auction is a rebuilt and complete, turn-key 1967 Porsche 912 engine. The Type 616/39 flat-four displaces 1,582cc with a bore of 82.5mm and a stroke of 74mm. It features a three-piece crankcase, single camshaft, and pushrod valve-train. This engine uses the factory rebuilt 40Pii-4 split-shaft Solex carbs. The distributor has been rebuilt by RSR Machine in Santa Ana CA. Detailed photos of case stampings can be viewed in the gallery. The case has been line bored and the crankshaft was assembled using all standard size bearings. The seller states the clutch assembly has been replaced and flywheel resurfaced. The engine serial number is 754830, the two matching main case halves read 56/56, the case casting reads 107581. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

Good evening portion through Zus I bought a California 67 912 with two engines the seller of this car had one engine rebuild which was not the matching numbers and then had to matching numbers case and parts that came with the sale of the car I drove the car home with this motor he had a file of receipt and I’ve known him for years knew that he had all the machine work done at competition engineering but when he sold me the car with the engine she could not find that folder or the title to the car this engine comes complete from the clutch all the way to the new exhaust most of the parts have been re-CAD plated all the engine 10 has either been powder coated or painted with an automotive grade paint
