Available for auction is a Porsche Design P’6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition titanium chronograph. This watch is a limited edition, numbered 284 of just 917 pieces, and celebrates Porsche’s iconic 1970 Le Mans victory. The 42mm titanium case features both brushed and polished finishes and is equipped with sapphire crystals on both the front and back.
The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and is powered by a Swiss ETA 2894-2 automatic movement, complete with a signature Porsche Design rotor. The watch comes with two straps: the original unworn black calf leather strap and an aftermarket Alcantara strap by The Strap Smith, which shows normal wear. The seller states that the watch was serviced in November 2018 and is in very good to excellent condition overall. While the watch itself is in great shape, the inner box shows some shelf wear due to age.
The watch comes complete with original box (inner wood and outer cardboard), original papers (warranty card, owner's manual, guaranty booklet), hangtag, a spare set of new curved spring bars, a Le Mans 1970 booklet, a 1/43 scale model of the 1970 Le Mans-winning Attwood / Herrman Porsche 917 and 2018 service papers.
Whether you are a Porsche enthusiast or collector of time pieces, this watch would make an excellent addition to any collection. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Thank you watchers for watching and shout-out to the bidders for throwing their hats in the ring. As the young adults like to say... May the odds be ever in your favor.
I'll be at 30,000 feet when the auction ends, but should have WiFi to field any last minute questions.
This is a conversation piece amongst us Porsche / Porsche Design Timepiece nerds. I've worn it to Luftgekühlt and Monterey Car Week. It was a diverting departure from the sea of Submariners typically floating about car events.
I'll add a couple of images to the gallery that show the P'6612 Le Mans featured in Aaron Sigmund's book Porsche Design Time : Watches Inspired By Porsche Motorsports.

Greetings watch fans and welcome to my auction for this unique piece.
This watch is in excellent condition. I am the original owner and it is part of a twenty watch collection, so it has seen limited use. When it has been worn, it's typically been under the cuff of a long sleeved dress shirt. The watch was last serviced in 2018.
I am selling as I am reducing the size of my collection and this is one of a few pieces that I don't wear enough.
As mentioned, the original calfskin strap has never been worn. I replaced it with an Alcantara version before I ever wore the watch.
I will add additional pictures to the gallery shortly.
Happy bidding.
Frank
