Available for auction is an original painting by Michael Ledwitz. This piece captures the beautiful lines of Tangerine long nose 911. It measures 36” x 48” and was created with neon acrylic paint and silver leaf on the Fuchs and trim accents.
Michael Ledwitz is known for his abstract style similar to Peter Max and LeRoy Neiman. His love for the arts started with drawing cars at a very young age and was inspired by Hot Wheels. Michael's art is coveted in the automotive industry and has led to many high-level pieces including the artwork done for Carrol Shelby's 85th birthday celebration. Michael's professional career in automotive art started after he was in a near-fatal car accident in 2005. He was forced to slow down from work in franchising in order to heal. His painting began as a hobby; a way to relax and reflect. Soon after, people started to notice Michael’s talent and began requesting commissioned pieces of their own. Since then, Michael’s accomplishments include silent auction pieces for Zoo Atlanta, commissioned paintings for Carroll Shelby’s 85th birthday in Las Vegas, Shelby Licensee, and was the featured artist for the 2018 Atlanta Concours d'Elegance at Chateau Elan.

Hello everyone. I have added additional photos of this painting in the natural light. Some are in a slightly shaded area and the other in the sign light.

@911r Hello. I love looking at photos online of the cars that I love. I will scroll and scroll through images. Then, all of a sudden something stops me. This image stopped me. I’ve been doing a bout with neon colors and the combination of color. When I was creating this one I used a perspective grid and here is the final end result. I was trying to put up other images to show how different light captures the painting. I will attempt again. Thank you for your questions. What year was your 911?
Can you tell me the car that was the actual inspiration? Looks like my old 911r hotrod build
