Available for auction is a vintage 1940’s Tydol Flying A 48" double-sided porcelain sign. The seller states that the sign is fully original boasting its original gloss with no touch-ups. The seller notes that while the sign shows some patina, it remains in overall good condition for its age.
Tydol, a once-prominent American gasoline brand, was known for its striking advertising and later became part of the Flying A and Tidewater Oil legacy. Highly sought after in the petroliana community, Tydol signs are prized for their bold graphics and historical significance, making this piece a fantastic addition to any collection.

Interested, but what are the unique things about it, that would show that it is Original vs Reproduction, not all signs back in the day had makers marks or dates. What is the history on this sign?
could really use the dimensions of the sign??
Bid in the amount of $400
Well, that just made things interesting. Mind listing some pictures of the proof marks?
I say this as someone who enjoys Tydol signs and has one hanging in my garage
This is not an old sign. Stop scamming people.
