Hi guys, Thank you for the post auction bids, really appreciate it. As I mentioned below, these items are $2k each on their own. With the matching date stamps and combined package, we figured that the 20% discount would make the lot a bargain. It's like paying for F E R R, and getting the A R I for free::--))))) We're getting closer.

@jimber, thank you for your bid, and you're on top. Sorry, P-Car only lets you tag 3 members per post. Didn't want to leave you out.
To reiterate again, both pieces are stamped Ferrari, Maranello, 1976. A fantastic matching set of the same vintage. Rare and a must for Ferrari (Memorabilia) Enthusiasts.

With just under 1/2 hour to go, I'd like to go over a few things:
- I'd like to reiterate that a simple wipe down with a damp rag was all the preparation that we did before taking these pictures. Any amount of polishing with a chrome polish will bring this set to the next (brilliant) level.
- It is very rare to find a set like this as you will only see either the letters, OR the Cavallino (pretty rare in itself), on their own, NEVER BOTH together. The letters, in any kind of condition, routinely go for around $2k. And, the last Cavallino that just went a few weeks back was NOT this very large scale, was NOT stamped FERRARI, and it still went for $2k with fees. Please keep in mind that this is an extremely rare lot in excellent condition.
- These will be VERY WELL wrapped and packaged for protection before taken to UPS. My local UPS store handles all items listed and always does an amazing job. I'll put the winning bidder in touch with the packaging specialist there so that they can choose the service of their choice, insured amount, etc. The winner will have total say and control of how this will be handled.
@jaredwayt, @Avant911, @brg41, Thank you for your bids.

Good Morning, Happy Thursday (Friday jr.), and welcome to the 2nd to last day of our Aluminum Ferrari Memorabilia auction. In a little over a day, we'll hopefully have a new lucky caretaker of this mini Aluminum Ferrari Memorabilia Collection.
So, let's keep the fresh shots coming to keep things interesting. It's also worth mentioning that all we did to prep this bling was to give it a quick wipe down with a damp rag, that's it. So, as good as everything looks now, all it would take to get it blindingly bright would be to spend a little time on it with some polish and a micro fiber cloth. We wanted to present everything as honestly as possible.
Thanks for reading, enjoy the pictures, and have a great Thursday.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday, and welcome to the another day of our Aluminum Ferrari Cavallino and Letters Memorabilia auction.
I was remiss in recognizing that yesterday was the beginning of March; historically the kick off month in to Spring. Seems like it sneaks up every year as I’m always waiting for the 30th or the 31st of February to change the date on my watch::–))))) Here in the Midwest, it’s another step toward getting our cars ready for the driving season, which is always eagerly anticipated.
So, with about half of the weekend left, we still have plenty of time to get to more great shots of this great lot. So, check out this morning’s picture batch, and have a great day.

I've got great pictures of the Cavallino inside and outside (caught a break between snow storms). I also have lots of great shots of the letters forwards, backwards, on carpeting, on hardwood, really a great selection. So, here comes the first batch of shots for your examination. Enjoy the pictures and have a great Saturday.

Good Evening everyone, Happy Friday, and welcome to the auction of this rare and unique combination of Ferrari Memorabilia. I hope folks got through their work week and are getting ready for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
If you're a Ferrari Memorabilia aficionado, you know that you either see the letters OR the Cavallino offered on their own, but never both. That makes this offering that much more special. The Cavallino is the LARGE version measuring over 36" head to hoof, and bears the official Ferrari stamping dated 1976. The letters are the requisite matching finish and weight, are in equally excellent condition, and are also officially stamped by Ferrari with the 1976 date. Again, matching factory and date stamps on both items helps set this offering apart.
This memorabilia lot is out of a local collection that happens to be owned by a long time friend who is actually a HUGE Porsche guy. For decades, he’s been finding and collecting some of the rarest memorabilia, Porsche or otherwise, that you’ve ever seen; signs, plaques, clocks, crests, die cast models, you name it, he’s got it. His memorabilia collection takes up almost as much room as his car collection; and that’s REALLY saying something.
Now, with the kids out of the house, and their rooms displaying some of these collectibles, the realization has set in that he can’t possibly display everything. So, the decision has been made to let some of it go, and here we are.
Over the next 7 days, I’ll be presenting this unique lot. Folks who follow my auctions know that I’ve always got a stash of back up pictures to add in as we go; and this listing is no exception. I’ll try to keep things as interesting as possible with the discussion as well as the picture adding as we closely inspect every part of the Cavallino, and the letters.
So, check out the already posted pictures but get ready for much more to come. Have a great evening.
