Available for auction is a vintage Jaguar tool kit, originally from a Mk2 and acquired by the owner approximately 15 years ago. This complete set includes all original tools, each stamped with the Jaguar name, along with a reproduction Thor’s Hammer and a Jaguar wheel knock-off tool.
The kit is accompanied by Jaguar Tools documentation, verifying its compatibility with multiple models, including the MkI, Mk2 (2.4 and 3.4), S-Type, 340, 420, and even some early E-Types. The seller states the tools and kit remain in original, unrestored condition, while the reproduction items are new. Notably, every tool bears the Jaguar stamp except for the grease gun, which is correctly marked Tecalemit.
Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire a rare and historically significant Jaguar tool kit. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Thanks for the offer, but we need to be closer to the asking price.
I just did
Offer in the amount of $250
@DLC, Thank you for your interest and bid. It has now gone into the Deal Tank so the process has moved from an auction style listing to an offer style listing. You're welcome to make an offer based on the asking price which we feel is extremely reasonable.

I have interest
With just over 15 minutes to go, I've just uploaded a few more pictures showing the Jaguar Tools Manual showing some of the variety of tools in the various kits over the years. Then another few from a color Jaguar tools article. Then finally a few more fun shots of our kit package. Check them out. Please note the extremely original patina and unrestored condition of the tool box itself. This would make a great addition to any collection or the missing piece to your vintage Jag.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday, and welcome to another day of our Jaguar Mk2 tool kit package auction. Hopefully folks have been enjoying their weekend so far.
As a reminder, please watch the included videos above as they accurately show and describe the great collection that this kit came out of. The shop tour gives an inside look into the workings of a 1st class restoration shop, and the tool kit overview further shows the specific collection of the genre. Both videos are interesting and entertaining.
Continuing on with the individual tool inspection, here's today's batch of shots. Enjoy the pictures and have a great day.

Good Afternoon everyone, Happy Wednesday, and welcome to the 2nd day of this very complete and original Jaguar Mk2 tool kit package auction. We're literally at the tipping point of the work week, so it's hopefully all down hill from here.
As I mentioned yesterday, there are 2 great videos that are included in this parts listing. You don’t normally see videos on listings of non motorized items, but that’s what sets Autofile Classics apart from the rest. I feel that the presentation should not only be informative, but it should also be entertaining. And, what’s more entertaining than videos of a cool shop containing lots of cool car guy stuff. If you’re here with us, checking out this listing, there’s probably not much more fun you could be having, and we’re happy to have you::–))))) So, even though the shop tour isn’t integral to this tool kit package, it’s sure entertaining, and gives folks some insight into the background of the enthusiast that’s behind this listing. Thanks for reading.
So, I will again recommend that folks watch the videos to gain some of that afore-mentioned insight. And, I’ll now begin an expanded view of the specific tools with our picture adding process. I’ll be alternating different tools on different days, so please don’t be mad if I spread them out over a few posts to keep things interesting::–)))))
Enjoy this first batch of pictures, and have a great Wednesday.
Good afternoon everyone, Happy Tuesday, Merry March, and welcome to the auction of this very authentic, and very original Jaguar Mk2 tool kit package. As it states in the write up, this style and size of kit was used and fits the wide range of models listed: Mk1s, Mk2s (2.4 / 3.4), S-Type, 340, 420, and yes, even some early E-Types. There's plenty of documentation to support those claims, and I'm looking forward to presenting that as we go. It's hard to find these kits in any kind of condition anymore as they are approaching 70 years old.
For those that have been following this series of auctions, this is the latest offering from the private collection of Bob Herold, owner and founder of well-known Jaguar restoration shop Just Jags. Aside from his beloved XKE that he’s owned since the early 70s, these tool kits are some of the longest standing items in his collection. He’s been amassing Jaguar tools and other goodies for as long as he’s been collecting and restoring Jaguar cars.
If you’re not familiar with Just Jags or the work of Bob Herold, he is not only a well known Jaguar restorer and collector, but a fixture in the Jaguar community. His resume includes everything from multiple stints as Jaguar Association President, to being the go to source for Classic Jaguar information. Bob has been a Jaguar lover since well before it was fashionable and bleeds British Racing Green. Everything in the Just Jags facility is a collector’s item of some kind, and this Tool Kit package is no different. In addition to its uniqueness, rarity, and obvious original condition, every item is authentic and period correct. Be sure to watch the facility tour video for more background on Bob, his journey, his collection, and lots of really cool collectibles he's picked up along the way.
As always, there are many more pictures to come, where we’ll take a very close look at each individual item in the kit. Additionally, we have the 2 videos to keep folks entertained and keep things lively for what is normally a pretty docile event; a tool kit auction. So, between the videos and the upcoming close up shots, we will hopefully have plenty to present over the next 7 days. But, go ahead and get a head start by checking out the already provided pictures and videos.
@IAMSEMLOH, Thanks for getting us started with your opening bid.
I’ll do my best to make the next week as exciting as a Vintage Tool Kit listing can be. So, check out the videos and the already included pictures, and have a great Tuesday.
