Available for auction is an illuminated Duckhams Motor Oil sign. The seller states the sign was acquired from a British performance parts distributor for brands such as Lotus and Jaguar. The sign measures approximately 27” inches in length, and 21” inches in height, with a depth of 5” inches. The front face is constructed of vacuum formed plastic which features the Duckhams Motor Oil logo in yellow/white set on a dark blue background. The backing is constructed of aluminum. The seller believes the original fluorescent lighting is present and is fully operational. The sign is powered by 220V circuitry wired to a UK plug. 
Founded in 1899 by chemist and businessman Alexander Duckham, Duckhams Motor oil became a major player in supplying troops with lubricants during WW1. Over one-hundred years later, Duckhams Motor Oil is still producing high-quality lubricants and has recently launched in the UAE.

I would just like to let everyone know that shipping this special sign is not a problem. It is likely to cost around $300 as the sign will need careful padding and protection. The box and packaging will be supplied as part of the sale and only the cost of the courier would be required.
