Available for auction is an illuminated double-sided Martini racing sign. This beautiful sign measures 32" x 16" and has an aluminum frame with a plastic face. The seller claims this sign is in excellent condition with no defects.
Martini Racing is the name under which various motor racing teams race when sponsored by the Italian company Martini & Rossi, a distillery that produces Martini vermouth in Turin. Martini's sponsorship program began in 1958 as Martini International Club, founded by Count Metello Rossi di Montelera of Martini & Rossi. The race cars are marked with distinctive dark blue, light blue, and red stripes on white, red, or silver background body cars. Since then, many teams in various motorsport disciplines competed under the Martini Racing name or just with Martini’s sponsorship, including Lancia in the World Rally Championship, Porsche and Lancia in the World Sportscar Championship, Tecno, Brabham or Lotus in Formula One or Alfa Romeo in touring car races.
