Available for auction is an illuminated Porsche dealership sign. The seller states the sign has been meticulously restored and is in near-perfect condition, with no cracks or scratches whatsoever. Decommissioned due to California’s 2018 CLEAN ENERGY (SB-100) regulation, the original neon tubes and ballasts were replaced with SB-100-compliant LED illumination, ensuring full functionality while preserving authenticity.
Each letter measures approximately 15” tall, 30” wide, and 6” deep, with the entire sign spanning roughly 20 feet when mounted as designed. The silver-gray letter cases have been lightly sprayed with zinc for preservation, while the interiors are treated with white rust preventer. The original German-made red plastic lenses, marked with “Plastic Elkamet Profiles Germany,” remain intact and in excellent condition, showcasing the sign’s authenticity and quality.
This refurbished sign combines modern energy efficiency with vintage charm, making it a standout collectible. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Also is there any (Porsche AG) scripts on any of the letters?
@badboybuses The sign / letters mounts the same as it would on a dealership wall.
No cords or wires would be exposed in mounting the sign. I added a few close ups of the rear of the letters so you can see the mounting holes and where the wires would come out for electrical wiring .
All transformers and wiring is included.
I was looking forward to your pictures showing what I asked for. but as of yet havent seen it. Cords and such. Trying to gauge how many holes i'll have to drill into my wall to run wires to my outlet, and letter to letter. I'd rather not have the cords showing between letters.
Bid in the amount of $3,500
So I can see how the lights in the letter are secured, but cant see how the power is supplied to each letter through a cord and how those cords hook to each other. Thats what Im looking for. Thanks.
@badboybuses we just loaded up an internal photo of the PORSCHE letter “E” for your review so the you can see the wiring that is inside of each individual P-O-R-S-C-H-E Letter for the sign.
Please don’t hesitate to DM if you have any questions and I’d be delighted to get them addressed for you.
I look forward to seeing your bid to make this remarkable Porsche sign the latest addition to your collection.
@badboybuses The mounting points for each individual letter are drilled out on the back of each individual chanel letter.
Also, the power cords (wires) are in tact and inside of the letters to prevent them from being pulled or damaged during the handling and shipping.
I’ll see if I can upload a photo or two of wires coming out of the letters for you.
Not seeing any power cords or mounting mounts. What's up with that?

We are proud to present an exquisitely rare, illuminated 20 foot large Porsche dealership sign letter set.
This Porsche dealership sign consists of the iconic seven letters of P-O-R-S-C-H-E that measure approximately 20’ feet in total length.
Each letter is 30” inches wide by 15” inches tall.
These authentic PORSCHE dealership signs are supposed to be dismantled and destroyed when removed from the dealerships…
However, as a highly prized and coveted Porsche collectibles go, a few of these precious gems have signs slipped through the cracks and ended up in private collections as this one did.
The California SB-100 clean energy law is an unforeseen consequence of the Senate bill – 100 clean energy program that has brought a select few of the signs into the private marketplace since 2018 here in California.
Even USA TODAY did a news report about this as well as Motor1 did a feature story about the rarity of these much sought after Porsche dealership signs.
This set is in excellent condition and would be a welcome addition to any serious PORSCHE collector.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to DM us for more information this specialPcar Market auction.
