Up for auction is a set of OEM Porsche Carbon Fiber Bucket seats. The seller states the seats were removed from a 987.2 Cayman. The seat shell is composed of a lightweight combination of glass and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP/CFRP) with a carbon-fiber surface finish, weighing in at only 15-19 lbs. Not only is the seat shell extremely lightweight compared to stock 911 seats but the strength of the GRP/CFRP construction offers a boost in both driver safety and durability. Another major safety feature is the passenger integral thorax airbag.
The seat surface is upholstered in full leather and offers a great balance of comfort and style. The seats are equipped with manual fore/aft adjustment and the folding backrest makes for much easier access to your rear seats. These seats are 50lbs lighter than standard 997 seats, offer optimal lateral support, are designed for both 3-point and 6-point seat belts, and pass all FIA regulations. No cracks or scratches are seen on the carbon back of the seats and the seat brackets underneath work perfectly as they should. A Brey Krause fire extinguisher mount is included with the seats and is currently mounted to the driver seat. Some minor wear can be seen on the driver stitching, please view the gallery for the best representation.
These seats are best suited for 987 Cayman and 997 911 models including the GT3 and GT3 RS but may fit other generations. Please confirm fitment on your vehicle before bidding. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

What you are seeing are reflections.
There is NO delaminating present in the carbon fiber.
There are some small scratches present on the driver seat.
The rest of each seat presents very well including the leather inserts.
