The sign measures approximately 4’ feet in length, 2’ feet in height and 2” in depth and is constructed of high-quality molded plastic. The sign features the classic Lambretta logotype with the Italian flag tri-stripe. The sign reads “Official Dealer, Lambretta, Sales, Service, Repair”.
Lambretta, best known for their scooters, started out as a steel tubing factory in Rome in 1922 and was reimagined into a motor scooter company many years later when the factory moved to Milan. The name is derived from the word Lambrate, the suburb of Milan named after the river Lambro which flows through the area, and where the factory was located.
