I bought one of these from this seller, and it's another world from the one that Porsche was selling some years ago in their boutiques.
I saw this sign at my dealer, and asked the parts and service manager if it was at all possible to get one and made it clear I was willing to pay well for it. They said it was not possible. And I was so happy to see one here.
It's somewhat heavy, with a beautiful relief and the finish is a smooth gloss. It feels like glass. The red and black areas almost look like they are embedded tiles, though I don't believe they are.
My point is this is quality. I see all the vintage plexi signs and they are cool, but unlike printed plexi this can't be re-created. I've got some cool stuff but this takes the cake.
