Available for auction is an original Porsche dealership sign that was first installed in 1970 when the “RS Porsche” dealer on Corso Bramante in Turin, Italy opened. It was taken down in 2001 when the dealer moved to Strada Della Pronda (always in Turin). Since then, the sign has been carefully stored until the seller purchased it and shipped it to the US. The sign originally used neon but was converted in Italy to LED and converted by the seller to US voltage. The power supply is suitable for 110 or 220-volt input. Each letter is approximately 22 inches wide by 12 inches high by 2 3/4 inches deep. The seller states a light restoration was performed using zinc spray outside and white rust preventer inside. The restoration was deliberately limited to protective measures to preserve its originality. Some weathering, patina, and minor cracks are present. Please view the gallery for the most accurate representation. Don’t miss your opportunity to own an authentic piece of Porsche dealership history. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

@blcaswell Thank you for the kind words. The wiring is very basic and can easily be modified m. Happy to change it if you end up buying it
Great to see this excellent piece of memorabilia. Thanks for the video that shows the wiring now with LEDs. Do you think it’s possible to mount it with a clean look on something like a concrete wall, or do you need drywall with the ability to route the wiring behind the surface material to achieve a clean installation?
@Narbeh approximately 13 ft
what is total width when mounted?
@_Will_ not a stupid question at all!!! That was the original state the sign was found in. each letter was carefully cleaned and lightly restored to keep its original condition. The individual letter pics are before. The group pics are the "after".
Sorry if this is a stupid question but should we assume those marks on some of the letters - like on the H and the ends of the E - are permanent and not just surface dirt?
@Lexday47 - I have a wooden box to ship them
Never mind ,the rest of the pictures just popped up on my screen.
Are the letters attached or separate, if they are attached how did you ship them ?
Bid in the amount of $750
