An open-top sister car to the 718 Cayman GT4, the Boxster Spyder shares the same GT3-derived front suspension, brakes, and naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine with its fixed-roof counterpart. This 2023 example is finished in the Paint to Sample color of Amethyst Metallic over a Black leather and Race-Tex interior with yellow stitching. It comes equipped with an optional 7-speed PDK transmission as well as door handles and brake calipers in high-gloss black, leather interior trim, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Bose Surround Sound System, and Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning (Special Wishes). This beautifully appointed Boxster Spyder is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Connecticut with approximately 1,400 miles on the odometer.
Compared to the standard 718 Boxster, the Spyder features a more aggressive front fascia and rear diffuser shared with the Cayman GT4 as well as a larger ducktail rear spoiler and a double-hump rear decklid that conceals the retractable convertible top. This example was ordered in the Paint to Sample color of Amethyst Metallic, a desirable Porsche color of the early 1990s. Equipment includes a black convertible top, power-folding side mirrors, side air intakes, dual exhaust outlets, and 20” GT4 wheels in silver as well as optional brake calipers, rear model lettering, and door handles in high-gloss black. The seller indicates the full exterior has been wrapped in clear paint protection film and the car was never subjected to track use. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Boxster Spyder features Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery complemented by matching leather trim inlays and deviated yellow stitching. Options include heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Voice Control, Navigation incl. Porsche Connect, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, and personalized floor mats with leather edging.
A naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 414 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The Boxster Spyder accelerates from 0-60 MPH in less than 4 seconds to a top speed of 189 MPH. A track-tuned and lowered version of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) comes standard as well as a Sport Exhaust System, while the brakes and front suspension are derived from the 911 GT3. The seller indicates the balance of the car’s original factory warranty remains in effect.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: “This is a wonderful car I purchased for my wife, but she really wants an SL.”

IF this were a manual I'd be all over this! I've had an Amethyst Porsche before and they are truly special and something to behold in sunlight. GLWA
@muddymogriffin I noticed moisture in the frunk after a soaking drive. (Around 400 miles). Porsche found a broken plug and replaced. Non issue.
Car has been perfect since.
Roof is hand operated. Just takes time to operate.
But it’s pretty cool.
@longclose
Greetings, was the water/air leak referenced in the 9/29/23 dealer visit in relation to the top or another body component? What was the nature of the problem and has it been remedied? This would be for my wife as well and while she has enjoyed a Boxster GTS in the past, especially with the ease of the power top, I'm wondering if the Spyder top would be a hassle in daily use. Thanks much.

@smittone Build sheet uploaded
A manual and gold rims away from being absolutely perfect, but I’d take her anyway!
@smittone Ok
@longclose thanks for the quick reply. Any chance you can get a build sheet since the window sticker is unavailable?
@smittone CT
Car is in storage. Window sticker in car.
Is the car located in SC or CT? Can you also post the window sticker?
Beautiful! Just beautiful! Good luck with the sale.

Beautiful car! The Sl will be more comfortable and plush, however the new ones are plagued with discharging battery issues. Many owners of ‘22 and ‘23 model years are getting out of them for that reason.
