Up for auction is this 2022 BMW F90 M5 CS finished in Individual Frozen Deep Green over a black Merino leather interior with Mugello Red stitching. New for the 2022 model year, the M5 CS is the ultimate performance version of the F90 M5 featuring special carbon body panels, lightweight bucket seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, forged 20” wheels, and a retuned suspension. With its twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 engine producing up to 627 HP, the M5 CS is the most powerful production BMW ever built. Said to have been driven only twice since delivery, this M5 was recently acquired from its original owner and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing less than 100 miles on the odometer.
This F90 was ordered in the model-specific BMW Individual color of Frozen Deep Green at an additional cost of $5,000. The M5 CS makes extensive use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) bodywork including the vented hood, roof, front splitter, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. CS-specific details include a special Gold Bronze finish applied to the kidney grille surround, model badging, and 20" Style 789M forged light-alloy wheels. Additional equipment on the CS includes adaptive full LED headlights with illuminated yellow surrounds as a tribute to BMW’s racing history, red M carbon-ceramic brake calipers, and high-gloss black Shadowline exterior trim. The wheels come dressed in a set of Pirelli P-Zero Corsa performance tires and the seller notes the car has been professionally detailed and kept indoors since new. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is configured in a 2+2 layout with aggressively bolstered lightweight carbon bucket seats in front and individual bucket seats for each passenger in the rear. The interior is trimmed in black Merino leather with Mugello Red accents, contrast stitching, and imprinted Nürburgring Nordschleife maps on each headrest. Other CS-specific details include a lightweight Merino leather center console with Mugello Red double-stitching, an M Alcantara steering wheel with a Mugello Red 12’oclock marking and red-trimmed carbon-fiber shift paddles, an Alcantara headliner, red “CS” badging on the instrument panel and between the rear bucket seats, M seatbelts with tri-color stitching, M5-badged velour floor mats with bespoke piping, and illuminated “M5 CS” icons on the door sill finishers. Standard features include remote engine start, Comfort Access keyless entry, 4-zone climate control, Park Distance Control, heads-up display, Active Driving Assistant, Live Cockpit Professional with iDrive 7.0, navigation, dual 12.3' digital screens, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. An image of the original window sticker can be found in the gallery.
Beneath the M Power carbon engine cover is a 4.4L twin-turbocharged S63B44T4 V8 producing up to 627 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through an 8-speed M Sport automatic transmission with an Active M limited-slip differential. The M5 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH. The rear-biased M xDrive all-wheel-drive system distributes the available torque between the front and rear axles via an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch, while the Active M Differential further optimizes power between the rear wheels for maximum grip and lateral dynamics. The CS receives model-specific spring and Dynamic Damper Control turning, M carbon-ceramic brakes, an M Sport Exhaust system, increased front negative camber, firmer springs and rear anti-roll bar, stiffened engine mounts, toe-link ball joint mounts, and Track Mode, which allows the driver to disable most of the electronic assists. This M5 CS has received its pre-delivery inspection from the original selling BMW dealer.
This sale will include a clean title and a 20"x30" limited 1 of 3 metallic print of the car signed by the seller and the photographer. The ultimate high-performance sports sedan on the road, this 2022 M5 CS is sure to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning driver. Now is your chance to skip the waitlist and get behind the wheel.

@DavisAutomotive @tizzyd well kudos to you for being fair to your customers. I respect that tremendously. I am a big fan of these and I know that they are so limited and unfortunately for us buyers they are bringing a great deal over MSRP. Probably won't see another sedan from BMW like this again ever.
seriously, west coast dealers are going 200k+ on these
maybe the last v8 non hybrid we will see in the M5 so they threw everything at this one
@carerera2dol I'm a BMW dealer and sold mine and instantly regretted it. I'll just have to hope and pray they do a final special runout of the F90....

I’m not 100% sure what the “no” is responding to? If it’s in relation to ceramic coating a satin paint, I can confirm that it’s done successfully all the time. We’ve done several by using “CeramicPro 9H” and the paint is protected and has its original lack of sheen. Once again, you can not apply a top coat or it will add sheen. I hope this helps everyone. Good luck today with the bids.
@Yags no
@Yags thanks! We do the pictures as a little extra touch for our customers. You can ceramic the paint and/or you can ceramic over a stealth Xpel PPF but we can't use a top coat as it will add a slight sheen to the paint.
The framed picture is a classy touch! Can you safely ceramic a car with the matte finish paint?
@F1tifosi Tifosi, huh.. must be a Georgia bulldog. ;) either way, solid appreciated comments.
@Day_Laborer Great thread you have put together on the trading of these incredible M5 CS's.
Seems to be updated very often and accurately. From the latest posts on the thread this particular CS should easily bring over 200k with the delivery miles it has. GLWS
I own a Brand's Hatch M5CS and it is literally most amazing sedan I have ever owned. In my opinion, better than my Panamera Turbo, the seats are amazing, acceleration like a #918 (seriously), and handling (unlike my past Tesla with performance package) in corners fantastic. Not related nor connected to seller, just wanted to express my POV. Thanks
Beautiful car in and out
GL
@Day_Laborer you definitely have my respect for maintaining that. Nice job
@MStein Thanks! That's my list that I tirelessly maintain. Glad people are taking notice of it and am able to help the BMW community!
Most dealers have cracked down to local sales only also their last allocations have been canceled, signaling the last batch produced will be it. The new one has been announced to have a hybrid drivetrain. You can tell BMW threw everything at the CS as a farewell, very much has E39 vibes.
This looks nice. GL
@Jrooney it appears that BMW will be bringing a total of 375-400 into the US. They’ve been pretty quiet about the total production of this car so far. They also state that it’s going to be a 2022 1 year run only. This one is pulling on my heart strings quite a bit! Thanks for the engagement.
Do you know how many 2022 models were made and there are plans to make it in 2023?
@MStein thanks for the link. That looks like a ton of work went into getting all of those links organized in one spot. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be glad to help.

Good afternoon everyone, my name is Drew, and I'm here to answer any questions during or after the auction. I’m very excited to offer this rare 1-owner M5 CS to the market. This example is one of only a few that were produced in the Frozen Deep Green Metallic, and it looks absolutely stunning in person. This example also has delivery miles for the next owner. For anyone that has previously purchased a vehicle from me will know that I'm an open book, so please ask any questions and I'll be sure to answer them as quickly and respectfully as possible. Traded vehicles are an option with me, feel free to DM with the details of your car, and I can even help you with financing terms if needed. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding. #ToTheMoon
I wanted to point out a few details as we get this auction started.
1. This car is a 1-owner vehicle and has delivery miles.
2. Normally I would add PPF to a car like this but have decided to leave it up to the next owner. If you plan on being the winning bidder, you’ll want to let me know if you want this installed to protect the car for future years.
3. I would also apply a ceramic coating to the paint but also want to leave this up to the winner bidder since this car is brand new. This is also a service that I offer.
4. I would also normally talk about the service history the car has had leading up to the auction, but this example has only had the PDI from the selling dealer, and its initial detail once delivery was scheduled.
Please reach out with any specific tech specs on this car or general questions. Thank you, DPL
