Based on the track-focused Cayman GT4, Porsche's 718 Boxster Spyder offers a visceral open-air driving experience with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine. This 2021 example comes finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black interior and features a 7-speed PDK transmission, LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Bose® Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay®, dual-zone automatic climate control, and much more. Showing approximately 7k miles on the odometer, this Boxster Spyder is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET by its seller out of Georgia.
The Spyder features a shortened windscreen compared to a standard Boxster along with bodywork from the Cayman GT4 and a unique double-fairing tonneau cover. This 718 is finished in GT Silver Metallic with a black soft top and features optional LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+). The 20” 718 Spyder wheels have been refinished in a satin alloy color and mounted with tires from 2020 at the front and 2022 at the rear. Black model designations have been fitted along with wheel spacers. The seller adds that a ceramic coating and full paint protection film have been applied, and some scuffing is noted on the underside of the front spoiler lip. Inside, the cabin presents Black standard leather and Race-Tex upholstery featuring optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with seat heating. Additional options include a luggage net in the passenger footwell, a heated multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Bose® Surround Sound System, and wireless Apple CarPlay® incl. Siri® connectivity. Black door sills have also been fitted.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine factory rated at 414 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. The Spyder borrows the front suspension setup from the 911 GT3 including brakes with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The adaptive dampers, ABS system, and stability-control programming are carried over from the GT3 RS. Features also include a sport exhaust system, a lowered PASM suspension, the Chrono Package, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanically locking rear differential. The seller states that a Softronic ECU tune has been installed, increasing output to 450 HP. Additionally, a certified Porsche dealer has performed three annual services.
