The pinnacle of Lexus’ model range, the LC 500 is a luxurious two-door grand tourer built at Toyota’s Motomachi facility where the LFA supercar was formerly produced. Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, it debuted the brand’s advanced GA-L chassis consisting of high-strength steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber. This 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible is finished in Caviar over Onyx leather upholstery and equipped with the optional Touring Package, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, a head-up display, carbon scuff plates, a Torsen limited-slip differential and Yamaha Performance Damper, and 21” forged alloy wheels. Showing approximately 5,600 miles on the odometer, this LC 500 Convertible is now being offered for auction out of Illinois.

Finished in Caviar paint, this LC 500 features a power soft top and active roll bars, triple-beam LED headlamps, power-folding auto-dimming mirrors, parking sensors, a rearview camera, chrome exhaust finishers, and optional 21” forged alloy wheels in a polished finish with gloss black accents. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Onyx interior features the optional Touring Package which includes semi-aniline leather front seat upholstery, embossed headrests, a heated steering wheel, Climate Concierge, and a Mark Levinson 13-speaker Reference Surround Sound audio system. Other amenities include heated and ventilated 10-way power front seats, a power steering column, magnesium paddle shifters, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a SmartAccess Entry System with pushbutton start/stop, an optional head-up display, optional carbon fiber scuff plates, and a 10.3” infotainment system display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver is also provided with All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Steering Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and a blind spot monitor with rear-cross traffic alert.

Featuring direct and port fuel injection, an active sport exhaust, and VVT-i variable valve timing, the 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8 engine delivers up to 471 HP and 394 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission. The car is equipped with an optional Torsen limited-slip differential and Yamaha Performance Damper, performance brakes with aluminum calipers, and adaptive variable suspension. Service records show the oil and filter were changed at an authorized dealership in September 2024.

This sale will include the original window sticker, an owner’s manual, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “One-owner car. Clean Carfax. 5,000-mile service done. Perfect 10 in all respects.”

@Skopy54 I agree with you on Porsche. Love the brand and currently own a 78 911 SC coupe, a 09 997 turbo (last year for the Mezger engine, a dry sump racing ). This one is very rare and speced right , Ceramic brakes, center lock wheels, a 6 speed with all the right options. As a result it is probably worth as much today as it cost new ($150K). My wife's DD is a 992.1 coupe with PDK, a great car worth about as much as it cost new as well. Of course the SC is worth way more than new and mine is a stunning example. I do differ with you on the positioning on the LC, I love them as well, bullet proof with impressive performance, although as a GT tourer, not a sports car. The 911 is getting so big you could almost say the same thing about the 992. The SL fits this category as well. The LC is positioned way above the CLK and Audi A4/A5 IMHO, and of course none of them have a V8.

@550bryan maybe a low model bmw convertible.
The E Class Benz, CLK small motor convertible.
    The Audi A5 / A4 convertible.
If all model choices had comp power options they all put the power to the wheels different. 911 still wins. Then MB. Then BMW. Then Audi. Then Lexus.
If I had all of them I 9/10 times I went out for a drive the 911 would be my first choice. I’d drive the Lexus least.

The 911 is a rear engine beast that has no comps. They drive so different. It’s in its own class. When you pull up in one of these it’s a statement. I mean truly you feel different owning / driving a Porsche. The rate of depreciation is unmatched. The reliability is unmatched. There is a reason the old air cooled and models since still bring over MSRP no matter the miles.

@Skopy54 @Skopy54, Agreed on your beautiful and reliable comments. Having owned all three of these cars I do think the comparison is valid, although each has its unique character. I'm curious, what would you name as competitors to the LC?

@550bryan I’m not sure it is even in the same room as either the SL or 911 but to each their own.
Very beautiful convertible. Very reliable. Unique and has a draw of country club vibe.

Rare, beautiful and bullet proof these LC 500's. More like a SL 500 than a 992 but as impressive as either. Love to have one if I had the room.

@markbutlerinc Hi Mark and thanks for the question.
The Oils run in theses LC 500,s are Synthetic Oils which is miles not time. The 5000 Mile Recommended service was done 82 miles ago @ 5582 miles along with the 5000 mile inspection by an Authorized Lexus Service Center. All Services are up to date and you can view photo # 136 for documentation.

@Marketwatcher The car is in loves park. My Pcar account is registered in Plainfield where I live. More like an hour and 20 minutes.

    Interested?????

    Or just looking?

  • Marketwatcher (registered bidder) 1 week, 6 daysago

Why is the car listed as in Planfield, Illinois when last week and all photos show it in Loves Park? They are about 2 hours from each other.
