Celebrating Porsche’s founding year with a limited production number of 1,948 cars in total, the 991.2-generation Porsche 911 Speedster is based on the contemporary GT3 with ceramic brakes, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 4.0-liter flat-six engine. This 2019 example is finished in the Paint to Sample color of British Racing Green and features a customized interior with Saddle leather and mahogany wood trim crafted at a cost of nearly $50k. It was also factory-optioned with additional leather trim, the Chrono Package, Front Axle Lift System, LED headlights in Black, illuminated door sills in carbon fiber, Bose Surround Sound System, and more. This one-of-a-kind GT3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with just over 60 miles showing on the odometer.
The 911 Speedster is characterized by its short, steeply raked windscreen and double-hump rear decklid that conceals a manual convertible top. This example is factory-finished in the Paint to Sample color of British Racing Green and features a Coco brown convertible top and gold badging that were installed by the owner to complement the custom interior. Other details include yellow ceramic brake calipers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual center-mounted tailpipes, optional window triangle trim in carbon fiber, and 20” GT3 center-lock wheels in silver. The seller notes the exterior is preserved under clear paint protection film up to the A-pillars. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inspired by the factory Heritage Design Package, the cabin has been redone by Kenneth Michaels Coachtrim with custom full grain Saddle leather upholstery covering the lower dashboard, grab handles, armrests, center console, shift boot, and carbon fiber full bucket seats. Custom mahogany trim was also installed along with Galvano Silver door handles and removable Ralph Lauren Duncanson Plaid Stone fabric seat centers. Factory options include the Dashboard and Door Panel Trim Package in Leather, air vent surrounds and slats in leather, center console sides in leather, sun visors in leather, a leather steering column casing, the Light Design Package, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, Chrono Package, Voice Control, Bose Surround Sound System, auto-dimming mirrors, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Featuring individual throttle bodies and a lightweight titanium exhaust system, the Speedster’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 503 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller indicates routine service was performed in 2023.
This sale will include a window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This one-of-a-kind 2019 Porsche Speedster has only 64 miles. This is Paint to Sample British Racing Green (1 of only 2 made in that color), and has a custom tan tartan interior and brown top, making it 1 of 1. This is a 1 owner car with a clean Carfax and PPF up to the A-pillars. The Tartan on the seat centers are attached with Velcro and can be switched with full leather seat centers that come with the car.”

@KopfBahl. Agreed, But I like my Miami Blue. Very well speced car with lots of interior upgrades and 18 way sport seats which I prefer.

@redwing123 sell the Miami blue. This is a real deal color for a special car like a speedster.

@redwing123 guess we will see if people value factory original equipment or aftermarket modifications on these high end specialty vehicles...

@redwing123 ABSOLUTELY!
Suspect most of you are aware of the auction that concluded an hour ago on another platform that saw a 363 mile Heritage sell for $ 400k. Whether you like or dislike the modifications, this is a far more interesting vehicle than the Heritage that just sold with even less mileage. Hopefully this vehicle receives the love it deserves. GLWA. Hopefully, someone is going to be the proud owner of a very unique car.
@SpartyRob84 I don't think anyone is arguing it looks good but the aftermarket major modifications are very, very important on a vehicle of this price point.

@AMGUSA I agree with you. Black interior on the speedster is a big turn off to me anyway.
@cm19PTS What's your source for the specific numbers of cars produced in a color? It would be good to have. Curious about my Superior red Speedster.
Porsches offered on PCM if altered cosmetically typically generate a wide variety of positive and negative comments. Personally having owned a large variety of Porsches welcome professionally modified high quality examples. I am only speaking for myself when I say this example is definitely stunning.
I am a bit surprised at all the negative comments regarding the aftermarket interior work. I guess if you’re looking at this as a collector item, and you want it all factory, then I understand. But let’s recognize that this car is beautiful, and in its modified state, it truly is a one off. If you’re looking to own a speedster to drive it and enjoy it, I haven’t seen many that are better than this one.
Shame that it only has 64 driving miles on it. Looking at the driver’s bottom seat bolster, at least it was sat in.
Thank you all for the comments. I guess 11 out of 1948 is still pretty rare. I'm biased but I'd rather have it with this interior and brown top than the OEM black interior and black top. FYI, the gentleman who ordered this car tried to get the factory to give him a brown top and tan interior, but they turned him down.
What company did the interior?
Also 11 Speedsters was delivered in British Racing Green, 7 came to the US so it's not 1 of 2 in any case..
I was interested until I seen that the interior is fully aftermarket, as someone with Sonderwunsch Porsche's in their collection, it just screams knockoff personally. If it was kept all factory I'd definitely would be bidding.
Personally I think this spec sets this one way above other speedsters on the market. The Ralph Lauren custom seat centers elevates it that much more! Good luck, what a beauty..
It is beautiful, just not factory. That's important when buying a limited car. Also would miss the embroidery and embossing on the center console and the seat headrest.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Whether oem or after-market this spec is spectacular . I saw this car in person
There are numerous British Racing Green 991 Speedsters out there. I’d agree that the interior mods make this a 1 of 1, but this is aftermarket and not from factory. Beautiful car nonetheless.
Got excited when I thought this was a factory 1 of 1 until learning it was all done aftermarket.
By that logic, there are a lot of 1 of 1 Toyotas and Hondas I see when driving through the Bronx!
No. The original interior parts are long gone.
Is the original interior parts available for this?
Bid in the amount of $300,000
So, the 1 of 2 PTS in British Racing Green has been debunked?
Was interested until finding out the interior is all aftermarket and not done by Porsche...
Are the original non mahogany trims available/included in sale.
Bid in the amount of $99,120
We do take trades!
If I could sell my G-body, 996tt and 991 Targa in time to own this I would. What a magnificent car!
@Jam2 I'm sorry you interpreted it that way, but it is very clear in the description. The 1 of 2 info came to us from Porsche. Perhaps they gave us bad info. Anyway, thanks for the information. I do appreciate it. The more accurate we can be, the better.
@AMGUSA "This is Paint to Sample British Racing Green (1 of only 2 made in that color), and has a custom tan tartan interior and brown top, making it 1 of 1." This makes it sound like it left the factory in a 1 of 1 configuration. Also, I know of 3 British racing green speedsters delivered in the northeast alone, and another in Ohio…. That is misleading, yes.
@JAM2 It's says very clearly that the top and interior are aftermarket, and a photo of the invoice is in the gallery. How is that misleading?
This is misleading. The top and the interior were done not by Porsche, but rather via a third-party aftermarket vendor here in the US. Also there are more than two British racing green speeders in the USA.
What a shame nobody experienced the joy of driving this beauty.
Rarely comment here but... WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!
Simply stunning! GLWA
Lovely 😊
Breathtaking spec!...and only 10-15 minutes away. GLWTA
