We are pleased to offer this 2018 Porsche 991 GT2 RS finished in Paint to Sample Vesuvio Metallic over a black leather and Alcantara interior with Platinum stitching. Introduced as Porsche’s range-topping GT model, the 700 HP 991 GT2 RS offers unparalleled track-oriented performance for demanding driving enthusiasts. Showcasing a rare Paint to Sample metallic finish, the Front Axle Lift System and exclusive interior details, this 2018 example commanded an original sticker price of over $319k. Showing just over 1,200 miles on the odometer, this 1-owner GT2 RS remains in like-new condition with paint protection film and ceramic coating applied over the full exterior.
The highly desirable Paint to Sample Vesuvio Metallic finish is stated to be like-new with clear paint protective film and ceramic coating preserving the full exterior (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Designed with an emphasis on performance, this RS features a lightweight magnesium roof, a large rear wing and center-lock GT3 RS wheels which are factory finished in Satin Aurum. The Front Axle Lift System has also been equipped allowing the nose of the car to be raised for extra clearance.
Inside, this RS sports a black leather and Alcantara interior with Platinum stitching throughout the cabin. The interior remains as new with all stock accessories and an original window sticker highlighting the following exclusive options:
The 991 GT2 RS currently holds the one of the fastest Nurburgring lap times of any production car in history. This is possible with its twin turbocharged 3.8 L flat-six engine which is rated at approximately 700HP. The rear wheels are driven via a dual clutch PDK transmission providing for a blistering 0-60 time of approximately 2.7 seconds and a top speed north of 210 mph. Improved aerodynamic components and active suspension help to keep this car firmly planted during high speed cornering. This RS is said to be in pristine driving condition having recently undergone a preemptive 10k mile service at an authorized Porsche dealership.
The sale of this 991 will include a set of two custom painted keys and the original books. For a discerning collector in search of a high performance GT model Porsche, this 1-owner Paint to Sample GT2 RS makes the perfect choice.

@ELynn well done, proper road trip in style (and presumably some speed)
@lee88 Yes, that was us at Amelia Island. We had shipped the car from British Columbia down to Fort Lauderdale with plans to tour the southern US with friends who had shipped their twin GT3 RS cars over from Germany. Then Covid. Their two cars are stuck in Atlanta.
We ended up driving 8000 kilometres straight back home :(
@gfcollins911 That's not ironic, its just coincidental. Thanks for letting us all know about the other car at Isringhausen, certainly helps in terms of pricing perspective.
@ELynn was your car at Werks Reunion in Amelia Island in March? I saw it there, great looking car.
This car for sale is indeed also Vesuvio PTS. I know the owner and have seen it in person. Owner has a couple other rare air cooled turbo cars and ordered this in Vesuvio given affinity for the color in 993 gen. The Isringhausen car must make 3 of them.
GLWS
Need spell check to stop correcting the colors name, it’s Vesuvio. Not visuvio. Sorry about that.
A little over a day left, please let us know if you have any other questions!
@ELynn good morning! It is in fact visuvio. It looks different in sun vs garage vs shade. But we have confirmed it’s visuvio. Thanks!
@bostonmotorsports Hello! This car looks a bit more like the colour Viola than Vesuvio. Just thought I’d ask for verification because I thought we had the only one ever built.
We have one in Canada, on the West coast, 2018 Vesuvio GT2 RS with the full Weissach package :)
Inside the frunk is the autograph of Timo Bernhard - he signed this for us at the Nurburgring after we took factory delivery in Stuttgart in summer of 2018.
@gfcollins911 thank you! Looks like that would be the other 1 of the 2! Builds are not too dis-similar either. Thanks for letting us know! Good times to be a PTS pcar fan
Beautiful car. GLWS. Ironically given the PTS, Isringhausen Imports has an almost identical car for sale now.
@az911 we know that this is 1 of 2 2RS’s in this color. We are not aware of any previous track time. We did see this car at multiple cars and coffee events at Larz Anderson here in Boston last year, however.
Any idea how many PTS cars/PTS GT2RS in this color? Any track time or previous paintwork?
@nosubstitute4porsche oops, I didn’t answer your last question. The factory set of wheels that are on the car are included with the car. The second set of Mag wheels are no longer available
@nosubstitute4porsche thank you! Yes. The owner had a set of magnesium wheels on it, they were removed during that service and the factory wheels are on the car.
HELLO gr8 car.. the repair order states that the wheels were changed out? Can you elaborate on this please? Does the car come with two sets of wheels?
Bid in the amount of $250,000
Talk about a paint job... This car pretty much defines Paint to Sample!
Big thanks to @pcarmarket for turning this one around so quick! As part of our extensive exotic and sports car inventory, we are ecstatic to offer this rare visuvio GT2RS to the pcarmarket shoppers! Please let us know if you have any questions
