We are pleased to present this 2018 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic. A high-performance GT for the modern purist, this 2018 Touring comes handsomely equipped with black leather and red deviated stitching throughout the cabin as well as Adaptive Sport Seats including Sport-Tex cloth centers and Porsche crested headrest. The standard 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission and Sharkwerks muffler bypass upgrade provide maximum sensation from the 4.0L flat-six engine. Having recently under a 10k-mile recommended service through an authorized Porsche dealer along with a full multi-point inspection, this GT3 Touring is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing just over 7k miles on the odometer.
This GT3 comes finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic and features the Touring Package, which eliminates the fixed rear wing and adds chrome-trimmed moldings around the windows. The factory 20” 911 GT3 center-lock wheels come finished in silver with original Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The seller notes clear Xpel paint protection film has been applied over the hood, front bumper, fenders, and rear quarters as well as the leading edge of the roof. A removable 50% tint has been applied to the windows as well, additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with red deviated stitching, Sport-Tex seat centers, and Anthracite Brushed Aluminum inlays. Equipment includes heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and the Bose High-End Sound Package.
The 4.0L flat-six engine produces up to 500 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission. A mechanical limited-slip differential comes standard along with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and rear-axle steering. A full 10k-mile service was completed by Porsche South Orlando in February of 2022 including a maintenance inspection and DME report which are provided for reference in the gallery. The seller adds the car has never been subjected to track use.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals, a clean title, and a 20"x30" limited 1 of 3 metallic print of the car signed by the seller and the photographer. With its accomodating interior and fresh service, this GT3 Touring is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel.

*Its
the market may have topped out? It's happened before!
While a lovely car the 245k buy it now price bears no relation to recent similar sales of ‘plain’ Tourings. GLWTS.
@BruceM911 still good numbers, absolutely. But 2-3 months ago, would this car have commanded some higher bids? I think so.
This car has a 156k MSRP, so a bid of 205k would have cost the buyer approx 54k over MSRP. I wouldn’t call that a softening of the market for a car that’s 4 years old and has 7k miles. Those are still good numbers.
@Utahcraft I think it already has started to hit the new car sales market. The rising interest rates will start to hurt that market very quickly coupled with an improving supply of new cars. Prices will inevitably fall as demand starts to slow.
@Bored I wonder at what point this starts to bleed into new car sales? Sounds like dealers are still getting significant premiums, especially on the 992s.
I have been watching manual 991.2 GT3s for many months, and decided to get serious about buying one a couple of weeks ago. I bid on one here on PcarMarket a few days back.
Prices won't go up on these forever. Lately, with more and more signs of the economy going down, not up, continued upward pressure on these - I don't think is there. I think thoughts of selling must be creeping into more minds of current owners of these cars... especially those who bought them partially for investment rationale. Therefore, I think supply of these in the market will be increasing soon.
I was fortunate enough to find a well equipped < 4000 mile 2018 GT3 6 speed for under $207 - a CPO car. I was surprised to buy one this quickly, honestly. I expected it to take another couple of months for prices to come down to the 200ish territory, which is my self imposed max. Currently surveying the landscape of asking prices, I see low side of around 209k - many at $219k, and still far too many north of that (again 6 speed manuals only).
I ended up buying mine because it looked to be a much better deal than literally all the others I found out there right now.
@Utahcraft Combination of several things, stock markets taken a beating coupled with a softening of the high end car market. Local Porsche dealer just offered me one of these yesterday at $219k with similar miles and a lot more options, CPO car.
Buyers expectations need to adjust to what's going on in the world and that's the hardest part. Gorgeous color but I doubt that will be enough.
Reserves are too high - Sellers will be realizing that at the end of a day vehicles are in fact a depreciating asset. Only a handful of cars are truly gems that justify a 20-40% increase a few years after manufactured. Only as recently as Nov-Dec 2021, this car would have hit 225 no problem. The car pricing world will slowly come back to normal…
Seems like a lot of PCar auctions not making reserves lately. Is the market softening or just unrealistic expectations on the part of sellers? Or mix of both?

@GvsSkier Thanks for the two great comments. I'll send you 20 bucks for your positive words! haha
I just uploaded a video of a cold start, warm start, walk around, and driving with the exhaust open and closed. Please enjoy the last few hours of this one and hit me up with any last questions.
For anyone joining last minute, please scroll down and read my opening statement, and do a quick review of all the documentation that I've gathered for you. I can't wait to meet the new owner. #ToTheMoon
These first gen GT3 with Touring (german for long distance racing) are the purest form sports car for the enthusiast driver with lots of driving background. They rip up track time and quickly eat up 10hr drives on your favourite roads like no other 911. If you like driving…a lot…these seats are amazing in comfort and hold along with the stock suspension you’ll cheeks will hurt from smiling so hard. Ship it to Europe for a 4 week tour of the Alps and have the best holliday of your life.
Bid in the amount of $189,000
@TxnBluDvl remember, Porsche “understates” acceleration numbers and “over-represents” RPM redline on their Tachs. I took Euro deliver of 2018 GT3 Touring in 2018 in Leipzeg and was educated on the Porsche Way. When I asked about engine break-in. I was told engines are ready to go to redline at delivery with 2nd oil and full warranty. However, the Driving Coach did say “now don’t be foolish…you’ve just had a great morning driving on the track in similar cars and you’re going to leave the track and get on an Autobahn in your brand new car so break yourself in to the car before you get on it.” He obviously spoke from experience.
A new video has been added to the listing page.

Wow, absolutely beautiful 911.
What a spectacular car! Good luck with the sale! And congrats to the future owner!
What a beautiful car. I’m a little biased, but the 991.2 Touring is the best driver’s car available today.
Sapphire blue and silver trim / wheels - perfect! Someone is going to be happy tomorrow!

@TxnBluDvl Hey @TxnBluDvl , I did the PPI on the car. Your math checks out correct.
In regards to Z200 reading, the value changes based on a lot of factors, such as engine temps, transmission gear selection, etc. You can treat it like a soft limiter essentially for when the cars cold/at a stand still. I can forward the technical explanation from the tester but that’s the gist of it.
The readings in this “report” was pulled from a VAL that was generated on a cold start after an oil change, so there’s a lot of extra values that usually should be filtered out so apologies for the info overload!
Paint meter pics have been added for the areas that do not have PPF on them. You'll see that it is all OE paint. I'll upload some videos tomorrow for everyone. Good luck and happy bidding.
@TxnBluDvl Sorry for the delayed response. I took the weekend to completly unplug from work, and am just now getting caught up.
I decided that it would be better for the shop foreman/Tech that did the PPI to respond to your question as he can elaborate with more details if needed. I also figured this would help support my "full transparency" approach to listing cars as it's an unbiased opinion. I hope this will be satisfactory for all bidders. Thanks again for all the kind words and comments.
@GTTROIS thanks but he figured it out a couple days ago and we got in contact with each other. Thank you for the assistance!
@MTtoAZ I do believe there IS a “contact seller” button on the ad. It is immediately prior to the comment section…

Hi @DPL, nice listing! I’m having a hard time reading through the DME report and wanted to confirm if what I’m reading is correct:
(1) The vehicle has range 1, 2, and 3 over revs. The latest Range 1-2 over revs occurred 16 hours, 40 mins ago. Range 3 overrev occurred 41 hours and 30 mins ago.
(2) Car spent a little over 2 seconds in overrev range.
(3) The max overrev was 9230 rpm, 230 rpm beyond redline.
Also, the DME report says the vehicle is limited to 4000 rpm (Z200 currently permitted top speed). Can you clarify why/what this means?

@DPL Is there a way to communicate directly with you? Unlike BaT, there is no contact seller

*I forgot to mention that there is PPF on the mirror caps as well, and those have been protected from the delivery date in additional to all of the other areas.
Please feel free to comment with questions or DM with items. We've had a decent amount of private questions sent already and I'm more than happy to help any of you. Thanks for the kind words and good luck. #ToTheMoon

@DPL Beautiful car and a very thorough and complete listing, GLWS.
( I’d bid if I didn’t have new GT3t sitting in Zuffenhausen awaiting transport).
Cheers
@davisjrjr Haha good catch. It’ll cost you $4.99. All my cars have them as a fun joke to not take myself to serious.
@jmann2380 My software automatically pushes my inventory to all listing sites and we caught it this morning, and it’s already been unpublished. BUT I wouldn’t worry about the reserve matching the listing price. As my reserves are always a reasonable price. Good luck with bidding!
@Utahcraft Don’t worry it’s less.
Good morning everyone, my name is Drew, and I'm here to answer any questions during or after the auction. I’m very excited to offer this 2018 Porsche GT3 Touring to the market. This example is shown Sapphire Blue Metallic, and it looks absolutely beautiful in person. This example has only 7,366 miles for the next owner. For anyone that has previously purchased a vehicle from me will know that I'm an open book, so please ask any questions and I'll be sure to answer them as quickly and respectfully as possible. Traded vehicles are an option with me, feel free to DM with the details of your car, and I can even help you with financing terms if needed. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding. #ToTheMoon
I wanted to point out a few details as we get this auction started.
1. This car is a 2-owner vehicle and has 7,366 miles.
2. This vehicle has XPel PPF on the front bumper, the full hood, full front fenders, a-pillars, leading edge of the roof and oversized rear fenders/hips. This PPF was applied at time of delivery and prevented any road wear blemishes. The paint on this unit has no chips, scratches, scuffs or dings.
3. A ceramic paint coating has been applied to the paint and wheels. I did not do the application and don’t have an exact date of the time it was applied. If the winning bidder wants to re-coat the car let me know in advance.
4. The car has been serviced regularly as stated on the Carfax. A PPI and LOF were performed in preparation of the listing. A current DME report has also been included and passed Porsche certified pre-owned standards. This cars service is up to current specs and is ready for the next owner.
This GT3 Touring is a great example of what a Touring should be. A very classy Sapphire Blue with the right amount of bright work. Happy bidding and good luck.
Please reach out with any specific tech specs on this car or general questions. Thank you, DPL
Wooo, I'm winning!
(beautiful car, btw)
