  • Mileage Shown: 63,143
  • Transmission: Automatic

  • Color: Miami Blue

  • Lot #: V-0048473-DT

Finished in Miami Blue over Black leather upholstery, this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4S Coupe was configured at an original MSRP of approximately $147k. It was optioned with the Premium Package Plus, Sport Package, 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, the Front Axle Lift System, and body-color exterior accents. This C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing approximately 63k miles on the odometer.

Compared to a standard Carrera, the 4S version sports wider bodywork, red brake calipers, quad exhaust outlets, and an LED light band connecting the taillights. This 991.2 was factory-specified in Miami Blue with painted side skirts, a painted rear model designation, and painted headlight cleaning system covers. Optional equipment includes SportDesign exterior mirrors as part of the Sport Package, LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), and the Front Axle Lift System, allowing the driver to raise or lower the nose of the car. It rides on a set of aftermarket wheels with tires from 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage to the rear end in November 2017.

The cabin is trimmed in Black leather and features the Premium Package Plus selected with 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus including the Memory Package. Additional options include Porsche-crested headrests, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Lane Change Assist (LCA), Voice Control, steering column casing in leather, a heated multifunction steering wheel, instrument dials in Black, and a smaller steering wheel as part of the Sport Package. A luggage net in the passenger footwell and an aluminum-look fuel cap were also selected.

This 991.2 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine that generates up to 420 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque, delivered to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. When optioned with the Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera 4S reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 4 seconds. The seller adds that oil changes were performed at 5k-mile intervals along with tire rotations at 10k-mile intervals.

This sale will include a branded title. The CARFAX report indicates a manufacturer buyback or lemon reported in December 2018.

The seller would like you to know: “This is a beautiful car with zero issues. It has the rare Miami blue with the axle lift system fully loaded with the Bose stereo system brand new rotors, brakes, tires and rims. I love this vehicle, but I am moving. Need to sell this and a few other items.”

Let the guy try and sell his car, jeez.

  • TheVintageCarGuy 2 weeks, 6 daysago

@BillyNYCBoy You know me? Not likely. Seems you know as much about me as you do about the market value of this Lemon branded Porsche, both when you bought it and now that you are attempting to get away from it. I have never owned a Toyota, let alone a Tercel. If you were smart, you'ld take the last offer before he changes his mind. Otherwise, gas it up and enjoy it yourself.

  • TheVintageCarGuy 3 weeksago

I hope @BillyNYCBoy like this car....A lot. Because with a Lemon Title, damage history and the miles it has along with the "Buy now" he thinks it's worth, he's gonna own it for a long time.

  • edgy4sure (registered bidder) 3 weeksago

never for a lemon title....at least for me

  • Kotykb 3 weeks, 1 dayago

Buy it now for $79.5k for a lemon, accident and high miles. Interesting. The final bid was all the money

The warranty is not a Manufacturer Porsche warranty which is a fact. Any info that would prove otherwise, by all means, share it with your buyers. Otherwise, I am bidding on a car that was lemon law twice with a 3rd party Exclusionary Language policy.

@jmorin you are not correct at all. thanks for looking however a dealer has a lot to do with a third-party warranty and the vehicles they protect. Thanks again and good luck.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

@Kotykb The car is fully wrapped, once again. I bought the car with he lemon law. There’s nothing wrong with the vehicle. Lemon laws are usually done because the vehicle had to be taken back for minor stuff from the original owner you’re bidding and possibly buylng a great rare car I can’t stress that enough. Good luck.

  • jmorin (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

So this isn't a warranty "from Porsche" at all. It's a warranty the Porsche dealer sold you at a fat margin, and all the risk is on the third party warranty company. It has nothing to do with Porsche at all. It would have been better if you had just been upfront about this. Aftermarket warranties are not necessarily bad. But Porsche has nothing to do with honoring it.

  • Kotykb 3 weeks, 1 dayago

Do you have paint protection film on the car, it was never answered when I asked days ago. Also for the buyback, why was it a lemon/buyback? It's not clear in the description. If this was clear it would avoid the numerous questions below.

Terek, Thanks for sharing the warranty info with me. I reviewed what you sent me and the warranty info is from a 3rd Party provider and not Porsche NA. The warranty you purchased was placed with Smart Auto Care. The Dealer at Rochester sold you a 3rd Party warranty that is based on Total Exclusionary contract language. Smart Auto Care is known for not treating claims fair and reasonably. Here is their website https://www.smartautocare.com/advantage-care

I hope this info helps and clarifies things on the extended warranty that is not Porsche NA.

To everyone out there considering this vehicle.I can tell you if you do get it.,You will be very happy with the way this vehicle drives and the attention it gets and the compliments that I always get every day I drive it. I bought the car with the lemon law and had no mechanical issues whatsoever, every button every light works as it should. I can’t stress that enough. About me I’m a commercial helicopter pilot and have been since 2001 as a helicopter pilot
You always want to make sure that things are running perfectly. Many questions about the lemon law. All I can tell you is that it has a five-year unlimited mile warranty, once again from the Porsche dealer that should tell you everything you need to know about the reliability of this vehicle. I have never had any problems with this vehicle whatsoever And just as a reminder, I put new rotors new brakes, new tires and rims justice last past month. If you are the winning bitter, I promise you, you will get a very beautiful rare reliable 911 with the Miami blue color and the axle lift system that I search for four months for this vehicle. Thanks again to all who have bid and good luck.

@jmorin it’s a warranty that I bought from Porsche five years unlimited Mile warranty that is transferable. Porsche does not mess around with third-party warranty companies if they’re not legit that’s why It was so expensive anyhow give me your email. I’ll send you a copy. Thanks for your interest.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

@DanceDanceDance I do not have photos of the undecided of the car trust me. It is very clean. Give me your email. I’ll send you the warranty. Thank you.

  • OSI (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

    @Billynycboy
It would be good to post a Pic of the warrantee, at least the 1st page and the transferable language.
    Thx

  • DanceDanceDance (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

    Hi
Can you please address the Warranty concerns? Is it Porsche CPO or is it a dealer who sold you self or 3rd party warranty?
Also, do you happen to have any photos of the underside of the car?

  • jmorin (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

@BillyNYCBoy The warranty is Porsche CPO or an aftermarket warranty?

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

@Buntz319 My apologies, I thought I got back to you. I have no idea all I can tell you, like I told others this vehicle is problem free and Porsche did an extensive inspection on this vehicle before they gave me the five year unlimited mile warranty that is transferable. There is nothing wrong with this vehicle. I can’t stress that enough. Only selling because I am moving that’s it. Thanks for looking and good luck.

  • Buntz319 (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 1 dayago

interested in porsche but please address question

  • Buntz319 (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 2 daysago

do you know why Porsche did a buy back twice...what was the problem that they couldnt fix? Great looking car, but??

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 2 daysago

@DanceDanceDance Thank you I appreciate it.

  • DanceDanceDance (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 2 daysago

Seems like I cannot edit my own post, but, it was bought back twice, so it received the lemon title, sold, and got lemoned again.
You were likely lied to BillyNYCBoy. Beautiful example nonetheless.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 2 daysago

@hdarth I appreciate the information when I bought this car in Georgia that is what the salesman informed me. Perhaps he didn’t even know. That’s great info. Once again I have to repeat the car has a five-year unlimited mile warranty done through the dealer. They knew about this as well and thoroughly inspected the vehicle before they gave me that warranty. That should tell you about the condition of this vehicle. I can’t stress that enough. if you do buy this vehicle, you will not have any problems. Thanks for your interest, and good luck

  • DanceDanceDance (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 2 daysago

To everyone bidding, please read the Lemon/buyback qualifications on MI.
I don't want to be difficult, but I do not know whether or not we know the full picture. Can someone chime in please?

I am not trying to bad mouth this car at all and it looks like a beautiful example and I am actively bidding on it but a a branded lemon law title actually has nothing to do with the owner not making payments. It has to do with the car not being able to be fixed in a timely manner because the dealer can not figure out the problem or because the car had multiple problems or a reoccurring problem. It can differ a little bit state by state for the criteria to what it takes to buy it back but it has nothing to do with non payment that would be a repossession and would not trip a lemon law buyback on title. This is usually only available to the first buyer and it is a legal process that happens and then deems the car a lemon. Below is good verbiage from the internet on what a lemon law tile is.

A lemon law title is a brand on a vehicle's title that indicates the vehicle has been deemed a lemon. A vehicle is considered a lemon if it has significant defects that make it unsafe, inoperable, or impair its value or use. These defects must have occurred during the vehicle's warranty period, and the manufacturer must be given a chance to repair the problem. If the vehicle continues to have the same problem, the state may brand it as a lemon.

Lemon laws are state-specific consumer protection laws that provide remedies for buyers or lessees of new or certified pre-owned vehicles. The remedies may include a replacement vehicle or a full refund of the purchase price, minus a deduction for use.

Not all states have lemon laws, and very few states offer legal protection for buying a lemon car after the warranty expires.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 3 daysago

@BillyNYCBoy One last comment, this vehicle also has the all wheel steering along with the all -wheel-drive thank you all for looking.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 3 daysago

@Buntz319 A branded title is issued when a vehicle is picked up from an owner that did not continue payments on the vehicle. Thanks for your interest.

  • Buntz319 (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 3 daysago

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 3 daysago

Final note, please be advised this vehicle had the oil changed every 5000 miles , and every 10,000 miles the air filters and the spark plugs were always changed by The Porsche Specialist in Pennsylvania. Any other service that was needed was done at a Porsche dealer. A Great rare 911 with the axle lift system, and no issues whatsoever. Good luck.

@Restaurantman Good morning, the warranty expires September 22, 2027 Thanks for looking.

  • Restaurantman (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 4 daysago

So when does the warranty expire?

  • maladent 3 weeks, 4 daysago

@hdarth did you get a copy of the warranty?

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 3 weeks, 5 daysago

@Restaurantman hi thanks for your interest in my vehicle. Those lemon law Carfax is are a mess, but I promise you it is more of a technicality than anything else. The garage door just scratched the back of that vehicle and the garage door went back up because of the sensor, the garage door has this vehicle is absolutely accident free that is the only thing I can tell you, I am only selling this vehicle because I am moving. Please know Porsche would not have given me a five year unlimited mile warranty. If they thought anything wrong with this vehicle I can’t stress that enough. This will be a problem free Porsche that I can promise you.

  • Restaurantman (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 5 daysago

I’d love to know more about this vehicle. Specs are good but the carfax is a hot mess. Lemon law, damage reported, just need detailed clarification and some documentation from the Porsche dealer. Would consider bidding then, could be a daily for a year or 2. Thanks

I will forward my email as I would like to investigate it also.

    Thanks,

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

@hdarth yes give me your email. I will send it to you. I just tried, but it did not go through.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

    @hdarth Yes. My 911 warrantee

  • hdarth (registered bidder) 4 weeksago

Who is the warranty through and do you have a copy of it? You could send me?

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

@rbrunson the photos have been added thank you

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

@rbrunson I believe the closest dealer to me is Rochester NY,anyhow just as a thought, before they gave me that five-year unlimited mile warranty that is transferable. They basically did an overkill PPI on it to make sure the vehicle was worthy, and as you can see it is thanks again.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

@rbrunson hello the window sticker is provided as well as additional photos. Thank you.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

Yes give me a couple of hours. I am not at home.

  • rbrunson (registered bidder) 4 weeksago

Can you also provide a copy of the window sticker or build sheet showing all options?

  • rbrunson (registered bidder) 4 weeksago

Would you allow a PPI at local Porsche dealership at my cost?
Can you provide more detailed pictures of the driver and passenger seats to get a better look at their current condition?
    Thanks,

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

as a reminder, the oil change was done every 5000 miles. at 10,000 miles the air filter and spark plugs were always changed just because. Just last month new rotors, new brakes, new rims and tires. This vehicle is fully wrapped.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

The car has NEVER ever been Tracked. There are no scratches behind the wheels or anything of that nature.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

I press send by accident. The door fell on the rear and the rear bumper had to be repainted. That is why it has a minor accident. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle or Porsche would not have given me a five-year extended warranty it had to go through an extensive check out before they would allow this vehicle to have warranty the car rides exceptionally beautiful. I do not have the OEM wheels.

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

The buyback was due to the new owner, not paying for the vehicle when they went to recover it and take it out of the garage. The door fell.

  • Kotykb 4 weeksago

Is there PPF coverage? Behind the rear tires looks beat up so I assume no. Oem wheels included? Track time? Service history? lemon buyback reason?

  • Catharpin 4 weeksago

Any idea what lead to the buy back? I bought one years ago and they disclosed the reasoning. OP brought it in 3 times complaining of a harsh ride. I think it was just buyers remorse, the car was awesome for years with zero issues. Resale hit wasn't huge, you just need the right buyer. This car is great and it will be interesting to see where this one goes. GLWTS!

  • BillyNYCBoy (seller) 4 weeksago

Good job guys thank you. Let’s see what happens.
