We are pleased to present this collector grade 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather and Alcantara interior with deviated stitching in Racing Yellow. One of the most highly acclaimed sports cars introduced in recent years, the GT4 was offered as Porsche’s ultimate Cayman model with a 3.8 L flat-six engine derived from the Carrera S paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. Recently acquired from a high-end private collection, this first-generation 2016 example showcases factory PCCB ceramic composite brakes, extended leather upholstery, and adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus. Showing just over 1,400 miles on the odometer, this 1-owner GT4 remains in like-new condition and is now being offered for auction by its seller in Massachusetts.
The GT Silver Metallic finish remains in exemplary condition having always been kept in climate-controlled storage. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings. Clear paint protection film has also been applied over the front bumper, fenders, and hood. Compared with the standard 981 Cayman, the GT4 features a more aggressive front end, larger side air intakes, a rear diffuser, and a large fixed rear wing. This particular example has been optioned with black rear wing supports, Bi-Xenon headlights in black, yellow PCCB brakes and Satin Black painted GT4 wheels.
Inside, this 981 showcases a pristine black leather and Alcantara interior with extended leather upholstery and contrasting stitching in Racing Yellow. Factory configured at an original cost of over $114k, this GT4 comes equipped with the following options:
This GT4 carries a Carrera S derived 3.8 L flat-six engine rated at 385 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds and a top speed north of 180 MPH. Increased stopping power is provided by optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). With just over 1k miles showing on the odometer, the GT4 remains totally stock and in immaculate driving condition. There is no DME report available, although the seller indicates this vehicle to have been recently acquired out of the world-class collection of an older gentleman who is said to have never subjected the car to harsh driving conditions.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, a clean title, owner’s manuals, and the original window sticker. Easily one of the best-preserved and tastefully optioned 981 GT4’s on the market, this 2016 example is sure to satisfy any discerning collector.

Offer in the amount of $91,000
@slilley thanks for your input. There are 46 of them for sale in the US. There are 3 priced higher, all with less miles.
You should make us an offer, worst we can say is no.
Hmm. That DT price is a bit cheeky, imho, given the availability of the 982/718 GT4.

@PCARMARKET Thank you!
A DME report has been added
@pcarmarket will be uploading the DME report we just got back, it shows 0 for all ranges. The car was babied.
@911reasons Clear paint protection film has also been applied over the front bumper, fenders, and hood
all, the transmission, while flawless while driving, is in the recall range for the GT4. For that reason, it is at Porsche Norwell for the recall. It will also be freshly serviced and, as per requests, have a DME over rev report completed. The car is as close to new as a car can be, and will need nothing! Thanks and good luck!
Is there a problem with the transmission or anything else for that matter? Thank you.
Do you know if this GT4 is one that had the welded 3rd gear problem?
Please explain what work is being done with the transmission update.
Is there film covering on the hood and front fenders?
Good afternoon- We wanted to provide an update. The car is currently at Porsche Norwell receiving a transmission update, as well an oil/filter change. This car was owned by an older Porsche collector, and is in as new condition inside and out. They tell us they will have a DME report for us tomorrow AM. As you may or may not know, we are dealing with a foot plus of snow overnight tonight here, so we are at the mercy of that when it comes to the response. Based on the age and use of the car by the previous owner, we would be shocked if there are any over revs on such a low mile car. But will provide as soon as we have it. Good luck bidding, only one day to go!

Update: DME report to accompany transmission update/recall and oil service by Porsche Norwell (MA).
Need report of zone 3-6 over-revs and transmission update
Can they do a DME report while its at the dealership for any potential over revs?
Not garage candy. I would track the H E double hockey sticks out of it!
@amc222 Great question, glad you asked! It is under way as we speak by Porsche Norwell (MA) along with a fresh oil service, all of which will be completed prior to delivery to its new owner.
Ok...someone needs to ask.....Has the transmission been updated?
