Finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior, this final-year Porsche 981 GTS pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated flat-six engine. The car was further selected with Porsche Torque Vectoring, Sport Suspension, wheels painted in Black Satin, Alcantara roof lining, the Convenience Package, and more. Previously owned in California and Texas, this Cayman GTS is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Texas with less than 14k miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in nonmetallic White (0Q) and features distinguishing GTS-specific elements, including more aggressive front and rear fascias, blackout headlamp surrounds, and smoked taillamp lenses. The optional 20” Carrera S wheels were selected in Black Satin and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires from 2016. Aftermarket tailpipes have been installed, and a ceramic coating has been applied. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage in June 2024. The seller states that the damage resulted from a passenger window break-in, causing a scratch on the door, which has since been refinished.
Inside, the driver is welcomed by a Black leather and Alcantara GTS interior. Additional options include roof lining in Alcantara, the CDR Plus audio system, and the Convenience Package which adds front seat heating and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, delivering up to 340 HP and 280 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The GTS variant offers an additional 15 HP and 7 lb.-ft of torque over the Cayman S and comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust. This example is additionally equipped with the optional Sport Suspension (X73), which enhances handling with a lower and firmer setup. The seller notes that an oil change was completed in 2024, and the CARFAX report lists eight recorded service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Tazhen80 No
Was the radar detector replaced after it was stolen?
@Lambogas - Please post paint gauge photos of each panel.
@Tazhen80 I will post them as soon as I have them ....
I am also waiting for the DME report details.
@drillfillbill I bought a scanner that should have been here yesterday, hopefully it will be here this AM. If not I will still post the results as soon as I can and the car will be in the deal tank
@seller Are you planning on providing the DME report and details of service records myself and others have asked for?
@Tazhen80 Transportation isnt a problem , we do it everyday
@Lambogas Thank you for the answer. Seems like a clean vehicle. Will you help with connecting me with a transportation to NY?
@Tazhen80 I think the general rule of thumb is around 7 years but that depends on several factors as to how its driven and if the car has been kept inside (ie) out of the sunlight , either way if I was going to drive it hard I would replace them
@Lambogas Thank you for your response. I had the impression that tires generally need to be changed every 3-5 years, regardless of their condition. I may be mistaken, but I appreciate the clarification.
Again, thank you!
@Lambogas I meant to say the engine components within the compartment.
@unemployable Because the engine compartment is covered .
@Tazhen80 They are date coded 2016 and are still in good shape , testament to how it was driven.
Bid in the amount of $53,500
Is it possible to get photos of the detailed service records? Would like to understand what services have been performed and when.
Bid in the amount of $53,000
Noob question here...wondering why we rarely see pictures of the engine compartment and not isolate just to this listing.
Does the vehicle need new tires? If I'm not mistaken, they are from 2016. In other words, they haven't been changed since the vehicle was purchased?
@BMWERKEN I am only guessing they were either swapped or refinished but they are in great condition
I have no idea why the description says that about the lettering or the emblems being removed or if they were ever there in the first place.
@hson10 Zero rattles or wind noise , here is a driving video ( rather long ) at high speed
https://youtu.be/jwKpx58JWcA
Two quick questions - the spec sheet says the wheels were black satin from the factory but these are gunmetal. Were the original wheels replaced or refinished?
Separately, the description says GTS lettering on the side and badging on the rear. Did one of the previous owners debadge the rear and sides?
Are there any rattles or squeaks that come from the passenger window break in / repair? I know with frameless windows the repair sometimes could get wonky so curious if it rattles or if there is more noise present (especially at speed).
@westhigh It has been paid off
@westhigh I am working on that , even trying to buy a scanner so we won’t need to rely on other people
Is there still a lien on the car?
DME printout?
Here is a walk around video

Can you provide a DME report showing overrevs. Thanks in advance.
@CBeth Someone broke the passengers window and stole a radar detector , in the process they put a small scratch on the passengers door.
Could you please share more details about the minor damage to the right side. What happens and what repairs were conducted? Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $5,000
