@Bullgator and actually on 996/986 stuff you will get factory readings of 3.5, with the hood being more of course. On Cayennes the readings are up to 6 all around.

@Bullgator relax Jesus. And not once did I ever say clear bra cures all. I said you won’t get an accurate reading of clear bra was applied. I have been with Porsche for 20 years and know thicknesses but thanks for the clear and arrogant response.
@cwoodman67 you obviously have no idea after 30 years. Porsche paints run between 3.7-4.8 mils and most paint protection films run 8 mils. The meter reads any applied material on the substrate or metal surface including any multiple layers of non original paint Or filler material. You have no clue what you are talking about. Your original suggestion that a protection film Cures all and it’s not an issue is absolutely Incorrect. You are entitled to your opinion but it’s wrong.
@Bullgator Bondo? It is gauging paint thickness but what do I know after 30 years of doing this. Gorgeous car hope it gets a good price P of B.
@cwoodman67 may not matter to you but if it has 100 mils of bondo on a panel you would see it right away. A protection film just adds the same depth of thickness throughout. Sorry but you are extremely mistaken. @PorscheBeachwood thank you for posting paint readings.

@Bullgator i apologize, we did paint meter the car and no signs of paint work. the entire car has paint protection film on it as well.
No paint readings? Paint being “consistent” sounds like a red flag to me.

The build sheet notes 14 way seats, but the description says 18way. Would you please include a picture of the driver side seat controls.
