I believe it was the owner of the Nissan dealership that bought the car and he commissioned the cpo to be done by the porsche dealer. By not registering the car to an individual, he wouldn't have to pay the $10,000 sales tax. Porsche doesn't speak loudly about it, but the cpo is really on the car. The local dealership confirmed the warranty is good till June 7, 2026. The real question should be; why are you selling the car so soon? This is not the forum I would chose to explain my very personal reasons. But my wife also just sold her sportscar of 25 year ownership. Tragic deaths of teenager and hitting my middle 70's have changed my perspective greatly. the car has absolutely no issues of any depth whatsoever.
Just to clarify my understanding of the car history...
Someone bought this car CPO from Porsche, and then a year later you bought this car from a Nissan dealership? When you bought the car from Nissan, you inherited the remainder of that CPO warranty?

If the Porsche shop had found anything from a "thud" noise, I would have been REALLY surprised ! But it got me a comprehensive vehicle inspection from the dealer. grin grin.
Bid in the amount of $80,500
so the owner heard "thuds" a month ago and the car is up for sale 500mi later?
Where were the thud noises coming from?? sorry to beat a dead horse but i'm wondering if there's any more information to be had regarding this.

Since they didn't point out the location of the "minor" rock chip, I have to speculate what they were referencing.
there are two chips next to each other, about a half an inch apart. the smaller ones about the size of a lead pencil point if you put the tip directly on a piece of paper. the other is about twice that size. It might be 1/32 of an inch across? My extensive experience with European cars reflects softer glass on windshields. in other words they pretty easily get minor rock chips, but rarely crack. US cars crack quite easily. A photo of the glass shows nothing but a point. It's too small to even do a repair.
I never noticed the comment on the inspection about a rock chip. I never noticed it on the windshield either. Since they never said anything to me when I picked the car up, I'll go see if I can spot it and get back to you.
Regarding the windshield rock chip, on the 15518 mile inspection, what is the scope of damage? Would you please add photo to see? Thank you.

Spotify simply connects to the satellite radio broadcast. cost about $9. a month. my i phone has Spotify and I can get podcasts on it too. no wires.
you able to use Spotify wirelessly ? Or need to connect via a wire ?
regarding the thud, I don't know. I'm starting to think it was more my imagination as I only heard it twice and only when I accelerated in a tight area. they could find nothing and had full warranty to cover anything they might discovered. when you have a cpo warranty there is never a charge to inspect. concerning apple play, I use a Spotify app and I'm not familiar with the apple products.
Beautiful example. Tell me if you are able to connect apple play on this beauty wirelessly…or wired? Also, you aware of any modifications on the cat? Congratulations on owning such a beauty.
Seller can you comment on the recent service invoice that didn’t manage to find the ‘thud’.

Wow I have never seen a Porsche with a service history like the first owner of this car. He did the 40k service, 60k service, and a ton in between. I bought a CPO car from the guy that bought it from the dealer, and had it serviced under the CPO warranty. I understand the warranty goes with the car on a private party sale.
What's the deal with this car? I don't know how they would know the Nissan dealer was involved.
its near Spanish Fork. very small town in the hills
Where in Utah?
This is a beautiful example. I am considering setting up an LLC in Montana to purchase and hold vehicles. For me, this opportunity is a little early as my garage space is unavailable. Dang.
the vehicle is located in Utah. It is registered in the name of my corporation from Montana. the vehicle was never driven in snow or ice in my possession. the pictures that show the underside will reflect a rust free condition. I did not replace any glass while I had it and see nothing to indicate which panel it might be. fyi, I am reluctant to get into the personal reasons I am selling this car after such a short time owning it. But know that I looked long and hard to find a car with this low of miles and in such pristine condition. the extended warranty from porsche is a great bonus.
Where in Montana is the car located?
Was this driven in the winter? If so was salt see on the roads? Which glass was repaired?
thanks for your question about the cpo, I have purchased several cop'd vehicles, and I have never had an issue with the warranty. this vehicle was just serviced from the porsche dealer and they confirmed the cpo warranty is active.
I may be off on this, but thru my readings a Porsche will lose its CPO warranty if it is re-sold by a non-Porsche Dealership. Looks like this was CPO'd prior to the current owner who bought it from a Nissan dealership. Any insight @seller?
