@nlust88 my pleasure. For what it's worth, if I see something that needs fixing I go for it, high standards here. This was a car that should have been on the market many months ago, just kept it around because it is so nice and one of those "rule breakers" that is far nicer than the miles displayed on the odometer. @nlust88 I have one key with the vehicle. The rear suspension is functioning as it should, since I don't have any record of it being replaced, speculating would be unfair to the bidders as I want to represent the car honestly. This car was clearly well-maintained and whoever gets it is getting a great example. As with any older car, it is wise to budget for future maintenance/repairs as needed. With that being said these are known to be extremely reliable and since the new ones are much more computerized and now have a Turbo this is one of the last that can be driven until the wheels come off! I know I asked about the suspension earlier but are you able to visually tell if the air springs are original or have been replaced at some point?
@Tartan43 I am no mechanic, but I am fairly certain those are the lines that run to the rear auto leveling suspension (factory)

@WReiter Yes, on photos 170-171. This was a common problem with W212's, along with W204's and several other coupes and midsize models. They didn't galvanize the part, and they acknowledged this error. Just to be clear, this issue would not stop me from getting this S212, knowing Mercedes will (and in my case they did) cover this $6K repair.

I have a 2012 S212. I see perforation in the rear subframe, Mercedes has warrantied this item for 20yrs/unlimited miles. For the next lucky owner get it taken care off!
@nlust88 hi. The carfax is extensive, however it is all I have available. The car is in top tier condition and everything is currently functioning with nothing giving any indication of needing repair nor any service or warning lights displayed.
Has the air suspension ever been serviced/replaced? The Carfax didn't give much info on this.
Do all the comfort features like heated/ventilated seats work?
