Introduced for the 2014 model year, the seventh-generation Corvette was the first to use the “Stingray” name since 1976. Equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission, this 2015 example comes finished in Laguna Blue over black leather upholstery and features the 2LT Preferred Equipment Group and Z51 Performance Package. Notable features include Competition Sport bucket seats, large Performance brakes with cross-drilled rotors, an electronic limited-slip differential, carbon fiber interior trim, and aftermarket 20”/21” HRE P104 Monoblok wheels. Showing less than 6k kilometers (~3,500 miles) on the odometer, this Stingray is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.

The C7 Corvette uses a hydro-formed aluminum chassis, "carbon-nano" composite underbody panels, a fiberglass composite material for much of the body, and carbon fiber for the hood and roof panels. This example is presented in a Laguna Blue tint coat. Additional details include HID headlights, a rear spoiler, red brake calipers, and aftermarket 20”/21” HRE P104 Monoblok wheels refinished in dark metallic bronze on June 6, 2023, and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires from May 2020. The staggered diameter 19”/20” chrome aluminum wheels as part of the Z51 package with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from March 2015 will accompany the sale. The seller adds that full paint protection film has been applied. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin presents black leather upholstery spanning the Competition Sport bucket seats, dashboard, and door panels, complemented with white stitching and additional carbon fiber accents. The optional 2LT Equipment Group adds heated and ventilated seats, a colorized heads-up display, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, auto-dimming mirrors, and Corvette logos on the seats. Standard features include keyless entry with push button start, a fully electronic convertible top, and dual 8” configurable driver/infotainment screens with the Chevrolet MyLink system and a rearview camera. Weathertech floor mats and a cargo tray have been fitted, and the unused original items will accompany the sale.

This C7 is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that uses direct fuel injection, Active Fuel Management, and continuously variable valve timing to produce up to 455 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission. The optional Z51 Performance Package, which includes more aggressive suspension tuning, an electronic limited-slip differential, high-performance gear ratios, larger slotted rotors, and dry-sump oiling, helps this Corvette accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 4 seconds. Optional large Performance brakes were also selected. Additionally, the C7’s aluminum frame offers increased stiffness and saves nearly 100 lbs compared to the previous C6 generation. The seller notes fully synthetic oil changes were performed annually, with the last being at 3,200 miles. A wheel alignment was also performed during a pre-purchase inspection on June 19, 2023.

This sale will include a clean title, a build sheet, owner’s manuals, sales literature, and a Corvette indoor car cover.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. Both mature owners have meticulously cared for this very special factory-ordered Stingray in Laguna Blue. The stunning HRE wheels previously owned by Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan make this already rare build a truly 1 of 1 example. Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan & is served by multiple carriers. I’ll provide whatever assistance I can to get the car loaded and off to its new home.”

Hi, just for other potential buyers in the US. For shipping to Chicago, enclosed transport is $3,300 to $3,950 and that does not include any customs paperwork, costs, etc. Open transport was > $2,000. Between shipping costs and buyer's fee, the sell price would have to make sense versus buying within the US.

@Yellow996turbo Sounds good. I’m visiting Chicago for the first time next weekend.

Thanks for the clarification. I’ll check on Monday for shipping cost to Chicago.

@Yellow996turbo I just took a look. Took me a minute, because there’s no scrape there. It’s a reflection of my weed eater.

Hi, in picture #67, there is either a scrape or dried up water line on the underside of the bumper in the painted blue section. Can you advise if a scrape or just water.

Fair enough guys. Sorry you didn’t hear back from the shipping companies. I sold my 1990 ZR-1 on here a few years ago. The buyer had it shipped to Washington for $1500 in an enclosed semi trailer. Picked the car up at my house.

@siliev1991 definitely, I tried to reach out to a few shipping companies on cost to ship Canada > US but hadn't heard back. Don't want to end up with spending 15% extra on shipping.

  • siliev1991 (registered bidder) 3 weeks, 4 daysago

@SSTwin I guess there's plenty of Vettes in the US so having to bring this back in through Canada pushed people away from bidding on this one because of all the extra costs on top of the auction fees as well.

Why is this beauty sitting at this bid?? Shipping from Canada? Can't imagine anything else.

Bid with confidence on this like new C7. It was special ordered by a Fire Chief nearing retirement. Him & I are very meticulous. It has never spent a night outdoors, & has never seen rain. The tires have never lost traction. I love this car, but a few toys have to go as I near retirement & plan to downsize.

@CarNutinMiami Tony Kanaan owned the wheels, not the car. He still owns the Corvette pace car in Laguna Blue, but with wheels from another company/sponsor.

  • CarNutinMiami 1 monthago

So Tony Kanaan owned the car or the wheels? Care to elaborate on that? I bought a 911 from his agent years ago in Miami.
