Finished in Black over an Agate/Pebble Grey partial leather interior, this 2014 Porsche Cayman S is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine mated to a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and features optional Power Sport Seats, the Sport Chrono Package, the Infotainment Package with Burmester High-end Surround Sound System, and more. Purchased by its previous owner in February 2022, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing just less than 118k miles on the odometer.
This 981 comes finished in Black and is distinguishable from a standard Cayman by its red-painted brake calipers and dual center-mounted exhaust tips. It rides on color-crested 19” Cayman S wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2019-2020 and equipment includes fog lights, heated power side mirrors, side air intakes, LED taillights, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The seller notes the windows have been tinted, a few imperfections under the front bumper, and chips on the front end. The CARFAX report lists minor damage in September 2019, and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in Agate and Pebble Grey partial leather with optional 14-way power-adjustable Sport seats, a multi-function three-spoke steering wheel, and the Infotainment Package with the Burmester High-end Surround System. The Sport Chrono Package was also opted for, and additional equipment consists of automatic climate control, and navigation. The seller notes a small tear in the passenger door panel and states that the front trunk struts occasionally do not hold the hood open.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine, the 981 Cayman S sends up to 315 HP and 266 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This 981 is equipped with the optional Sport Chono Package, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.5 seconds. The CARFAX details recent service including the replacement of the front and rear brake pads & rotors, sensors, and caliper bolts in November of 2022, along with the replacement of a washer fluid line in June 2023, and an oil and filter change in June of 2024.
This sale will include some documentation and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Hi everyone, thank you for expressing interest in my beloved Cayman S. This has been my first Porsche owned & I’m selling on PCAR in hopes to someone who will appreciate the car as much as I do. It’s bittersweet to see her go but I know the next will be even better. This is such a fantastic sports car I know anyone would be thrilled to have. She’s a beast. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you an again and best of luck with bidding. One thing I love most about this car is the Burmester sound system. It’s absolutely mind blowing and has a live sound option for podcasts / radio etc. -Justin”

@bt88 for FWIW - she did just pass inspection less than 2 weeks ago for renewing registration. As passing inspection is mandatory in TX for registration
@jmckeown50 Can a PPI be arranged? Especially with the PDK I would like to know that it passes a clean bill of health. Many thanks!
@bt88 thank you so much! I absolutely have loved this car. An absolute dream for my first Porsche the last 3 years. I’ll definitely be adding one back to the fleet in due time.
Looks like a great car and perfect for what I want. My Daughter has her eyes on my 944 Turbo, so I need a replacement!
