Now available for auction is this 2014 Ferrari California 30 presented in Argento Nürburgring over a Nero diamond-stitched leather interior. Reviving the namesake of the original Ferrari 250 California of the late 1950s, the modern Ferrari California was introduced in 2008 as a V8 grand tourer and the first Ferrari to ever feature a folding convertible hardtop. The California “30” version represents the update for the 2012 model year including a reduction in weight and increased power. This 2-owner 2014 example also features optional carbon fiber rear molding, a carbon fiber steering wheel with LEDs, and the Handling Speciale Package which improves responsiveness and agility. Said to remain in absolutely pristine overall condition, this Ferrari California is now being offered by its seller out of Kansas City with just over 11k miles showing on the odometer.
This Ferrari is presented in Argento Nürburgring and the paint is described to be in excellent condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. The Pininfarina-designed bodywork features side air intake vents reminiscent of those seen on the original 250 California SWB. Optional factory details include Scuderia shields on the front fenders, carbon fiber rear molding, aluminum brake calipers, and 20" forged wheels in a diamond-cut finished.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in fine Nero leather with decorative diamond-pattern stitching. This luxurious grand tourer offers 2+2 rear seating, a power-operated convertible hardtop, and exclusive options including power-adjustable seats, silver seatbelts, front and rear parking sensors, the AFS lighting system, and a carbon fiber steering wheel with tachometer LEDs. The cabin is noted to be in near-perfect condition with all accessories functioning properly.
This California 30 is equipped with a mid-front mounted Ferrari-Maserati type F136 4.3 L V8 engine that provides an output of 483 HP, an increase of 30 HP over the first-generation California. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that allows for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.8 seconds while reaching a top speed of over 190 MPH. This California 30 also highlights the optional Handling Speciale (HS) Package which provides a more dynamic driving experience through a highly responsive Delphi MagneRide suspension, stiffer springs, and a quicker steering ratio. A service is said to have been carried out by Continental AutoSports in Chicago at approximately 9,500 miles.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's books, tools, a Ferrari battery charger, car cover, wind deflector, and the original window sticker.

@JAB25blkfox4055suns if you did bid I don’t see it recorded. Marko still has the top spot for now. If that bid holds on I may be back.
Has my bid of $71000. get Record. JAB25?
That is just a shadow. This car has no paintwork.
it could just be the angle or the lighting since the Carfax shows no accident history, but there appears to be a color variation from the driver's front fender and the driver's door. Paint readings and possibly another angle might clear that up.
Thanks for the bid and I will get a video up of the top.
Bid in the amount of $69,500
@RandyCurnow thank you! My experience is only from doing a lot of reading on this model as it is next up on my short list of acquisitions. I am not in purchase mode right now as all the bays are filled, but I will drop a starting bid to set the basement.
The knocks on the California are problems with the DCT, which are generally thought to be sorted out by the 2012 model year. Also the retractable roof is prone to problems, so a video of the roof operating would be nice.
Marko thanks for your positive comments! ! My name is Craig Martin GM at Randy Curnow and i will try and answer any questions that come up. Marko you can chime in also sounds like you have lots of experience on these cars!! Thanks
Just for reader and bidder clarification, all 2013-2014 California's are "California 30's". SOME but not many of the 2012 vehicles are "30's", identified by a capital T in the 6th position of the VIN. This one has the desirable handling package which is said to transform the driving experience. Nice understated example. Best of luck with the auction.
