Finished in White over a Luxor Beige interior, this 2013 Porsche 981 Boxster features a 6-speed manual transmission, Sport Seats with crested headrests, Bi-Xenon headlights, and Bose Surround Sound.  It was acquired by the second and current owner in December of 2015 at just over 8k miles and has since been upgraded with an IPD intake plenum, throttle body, AWE exhaust, and Softronic ECU tune.  Supported by well-documented service history and with approximately 25k miles showing on the odometer, this Boxster is now being offered for auction out of Texas.

This 981 comes finished in White (0Q) with a retractable black convertible top and factory 18” Boxster wheels with colored center crests. Aftermarket dual exhaust tips have been fitted and the car rides on a set of Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT N0 tires mounted within the last 8k miles. Some minor chips are noted on the exterior as well as a scuff touchup near the right rear wheel well. The car is said to have been garage-kept since new and the seller reports 12 days of track use under their ownership, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the cabin is appointed with Luxor Beige partial leather upholstery including optional 14-way Power Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests.  The optional Bose Surround Sound system also came equipped as well as Premium Package which adds dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, Bi-Xenon headlights, and front-seat heating/ventilation.  The soft-touch material on the volume control knob has deteriorated with age, the driver’s side door pocket hinge is broken, and the horn is out of tune.

The 981 generation Boxster carries a naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat-six engine that sends up to 265 HP and 206 lb.-ft of torque stock to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.  The current owner upgraded the engine with an 88mm IPD throttle body and intake plenum as well as an AWE Tuning cat-back exhaust and Softronic performance ECU tune.  Routine service under the current ownership includes new spark plugs and coolant in 2018 at 16k miles, new brake pads in 2018 at 18k miles, and a full 25k-mile service/inspection in May of 2022.

This sale will include a clean title.

Beautiful car. Sold my 2014 Boxster S, six speed last year. Wish I hadn’t. These 6 cylinder babies will become collector’s item, just like the air cooled, 993, 911 did. Have a 2018 Boxster S six speed; it’s just not the same driving experience. Good luck!

@AustinTaos I've also just added the Rev Report info in some screen shots of the DME Report. They are at the bottom of the photo thumbnails.
Page 1 shows Ranges 1 and 2. Page 2 showing ranges 3 and 4 will not load (maxed out my number of photos?) but info is: Range 3 # of ignitions is 233, hours 822, Range 4 # of ignitions 287, hours 783.
Page 3 shows Ranges 5 and 6 which shows no activity.
I hope this is helpful. Ranges 3 and 4 are considered well within expected usage for Porsches.

@AustinTaos I've add the video of the top operation just now, but it may not show up until PCarMarket staff review it 'during normal business hours'. Don't know when that will be over the long weekend. But rest assured the top does work without a problem, latches tight, tucks away cleanly and has no issues.

Thanks for the response. No doubt, they are designed to rev, and a couple of shots to redline aren't overly disturbing, but given that the car has been tracked on multiple occasions, a DME, if you can get it done , would be good info. PDKs won't allow an overrev, but anything can happen on a manual six speed.
Not to be bothersome, but could you possibly post a video of the top operating from fully open to fully closed and back?
As an aside, and FWIW, I know that many of us look down our noses at base Boxsters and regard them as underpowered. Having driven more than one base Boxster, I find the power adequate. Besides which, on the street, I'd far rather drive a "slower" car at 8 tenths than a beast at 5 tenths.

@WRENCH.56 Clutch is in good shape. Has not been replaced or worked on during my ownership the last 6 ½ years. The gearbox was replaced when I bought it at 8300 miles.
I have not done a PPI or got the DME report which I probably should have, but have no reason to suspect it would reveal any problems. I redlined the car twice during a track session, but other than that I've kept the rpms below 6000. I spoke with my mechanic about high revs and he said "that's what the cars are designed for!"
I may not be able to get the report tomorrow, but will look into it.

Nice car. I’m not concerned much that it’s been tracked, but would very much like to see a DME over-rev report.
Is the clutch in good shape?Has it been replaced?
    Thanks.

Greetings - this is a great car; super fun to drive, well maintained with records, etc
Please let me know if I can help clarify any thing with the listing
